The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the relationship among confidence in physical education, attitude in physical education and self-management which prospective elementary school teachers perceive. For this purpose, data from 271 students in universities of education located nationwide were collected and analyzed. Descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis were conducted on the collected data by using IBM SPSS 23.0 statistical program, and confirmatory factor analysis and verification on structural equation model were conducted by using IBM AMOS 23.0 program. Through this research process, following conclusions were obtained; First, prospective elementary school teachers’ confidence in physical education has a significant effect on attitude in physical education. Second, prospective elementary school teachers’ attitude in physical education has a significant effect on self-management. Third, prospective elementary school teachers’ confidence in physical education has no significant effect on self-management. Fourth, prospective elementary school teachers’ attitude in physical education has a complete mediating effect in the relationship between confidence in physical education and self-management. That is, the higher the prospective elementary school teachers’ confidence in physical education and attitude in physical education, the more positive effect on self-management ability to control academic and interpersonal relationships.

이 연구는 예비초등교사가 인식하는 체육교수신뢰와 체육교과태도 및 자기관리의 관계를 실증적으로 구명하는데 목적이 있었다. 이러한 연구목적을 수행하기 위하여 전국에 분포되어 있는 교육대학교 재학생 271명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 통계프로그램인 IBM SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 신뢰도분 석, 상관분석을 실시하였으며, IBM AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 확인적요인분석 및 구조방정식모형 검증을 실시하였다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 예비초등교사의 체육교수신뢰는 체육교과 태도에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 예비초등교사의 체육교과태도는 자기관리에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 예비 초등교사의 체육교수신뢰는 자기관리에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는다. 넷째, 예비초등교사의 체육교과태도는 체육 교수신뢰와 자기관리 사이에 완전매개의 효과가 있다. 즉, 예비초등교사의 체육교수신뢰와 체육교과태도가 높을수 록 학업과 대인관계를 관리하는 자기관리 능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다.
