This study is known as Jeong Jiyong's esoteric poem Yuseonaesang(流線哀傷) and Parasol in relevance to the ground tried to interpret the announcement. 본 논문은 정지용의 난해시로 알려진 ｢유선애상｣과 ｢파라솔｣을 발표 지면과 의 관련성에서 해석하고자 했다. ｢유선애상｣에서는 ‘유선형’에 대한 화자의 감정이 청각적 심상을 통해 보다 잘 드러나는데, 희화된 표현을 통해 ‘유선형’ 자체가 애상을 하지 못하는 것 혹은 ‘유선형’을 통해 애상할 수 없는 화자의 감각이 동시에 드러난다. 즉, ‘유선형’이라 는 당시 문화적 현상 또는 근대적 대상, ‘애상’이라는 보다 전근대적 감정이 양립 할 수 없는 상황을 인식하고 있는 화자의 정서를 유추해볼 수 있다. ｢파라솔｣의 원본 텍스트 ｢明眸｣가 ≪중앙≫에 ‘시화순례’라는 제목 아래 장발 의 그림과 정지용의 글이 함께 게재되어 있다는 점을 함께 고려하면, 작품의 난 해성이 어느 정도 해결되는 것을 볼 수 있다. 작품에 드러난 여성의 이미지를 산 문에 나타난 화실의 여성 모델과 연관시킬 수 있으며, 화실의 풍경과 화가의 고 단함 역시 시에 고스란히 드러난다. 정지용은 산문과 장발의 스케치와 관련하여 다양한 시점과 각도에서 시적 대상을 보고 있으며, 신여성에 대한 이해와 근대적 인 것과의 모순 혹은 분열된 인식을 보여주고 있다. 그것은 긍정이나 부정, 신비 화나 고단함의 양가성이 동시에 드러나면서도, 근대적 경험에 대한 정지용의 복 합성이 드러나는 지점이기도 하다. 이처럼 ｢유선애상｣과 ｢파라솔｣은 시적 대상을 다층적으로 바라보고 있는 정 지용의 직관에 의한 작품이라 할 수 있으며, 특히 발표 지면의 특수성에 부합하 려는 의도가 강한 작품들이라 할 수 있다.
