In many countries around the world, efforts are being made to secure diverse cultural heritages. In recent years, modern cultural heritage has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are also modern cultural heritages around us, but we are not interested in this. Therefore, research is needed to raise interest in modern cultural heritage. This paper proposes a content system that uses historical maps and related contents to preserve modern cultural heritage and raise public interest. In order to inform the location of the modern cultural heritage, the satellite map of Seoul and the historical map of Seoul were made so that the general public could easily converge on it. In addition, we compiled a modern cultural heritage contents system that introduces photographs and videos related to modern heritage buildings and streets, comparing the maps of present and past fused. The content system of modern cultural heritage can be viewed by comparing the shape of the old Seoul. In addition, it has the advantage of being able to easily view the various materials of the modern cultural heritage existing in the map.

세계 여러 나라에서는 다양한 문화유산을 확보하려는 노력을 기울이고 있다. 특히, 최근에는 근대문화유산도 유네스코 세계 유산으로 등재가 이루어지고 있다. 우리의 주변에 다양한 근대문화유산이 존재하지만, 우리의 근대문화유산에 대해 잘 알려지지 않았다. 따라서 근대문화유산에 대한 관심을 높이기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문은 근대문화유산을 보존하고 대중의 관심을 높이기 위해 근대지도와 관련 자료를 활용한 콘텐츠 시스템을 제안한다. 근대문화유산의 위치를 알리기 위해 서울의 위성지도와 근대 경성지도를 일반인도 쉽게 융합하여 살펴볼 수 있게 하였다. 그리고 현재와 과거가 융합된 지도를 비교하면서 근대건축물이나 거리와 관련된 사진 및 동영상을 소개하는 근대문화유산 콘텐츠 시스템을 제작하였다. 근대문화유산 콘텐츠 시스템은 융합된 지도를 통해 근대서울의 모습을 현재와 비교할 수 있으며, 지도 속에 현존하는 근대문화유산의 다양한 자료를 손쉽게 볼 수 있는 장점이 있다.
