In the training of acting, training of method acting has been popular as a basic methodology. Especially, as the development of the media has stimulated the video-related industries, the demand for method acting training is becoming more demanding due to thirst for acting more natural and feeling true to the enlarged image. Lee Strasberg (1990-1982)., Stellar Adler (1990-1992)., and Sanford Meisner (1905-1997). are the main advocates of these methods acting. This study is the study of `sympathy training' of Sanford Meisner among them. Meisner has developed his own methodology by expanding the need for sympathizers in the actor training that Stanislawski talked about. Repeat training is a typical training method. Meisner noted that rapport and momentary reaction to the acting partner reached a deeper truthfulness. In addition, the `momentary response' is inextricably linked to the context of improvisation, and its importance has been confirmed in the performances of the playback theater and the action theater (ActionTheater).. Finally, I would like to take a closer look at the perception of 'given situation' as a basic postponement training course to reach the essence of acting through these studies.

연기훈련에 있어 메소드 연기의 훈련방법은 기초적 방법론으로 각광을 받아오고 있다. 특히 매체의 발달로 영상 관련 산업이 활성화 되면서 보다 자연스러운 연기, 확대된 영상에서도 진실함이 느껴지는 연기에 대한 목마름으로 메소드 연기훈련법에 대한 요구는 더해지고 있다. 이러한 메소드 연기의 대표적 인 주창자들이며 3인방이라 불리우는 리 스트라스버그(Lee Strasberg,1990-1982), 스텔라 애들러(Stella Adler, 1990-1992), 샌포드 마이즈너(Sanford Meisner, 1905-1997)의 방법론이 있다. 본 연구는 그 중에서는 샌포드 마이즈너의 `교감훈련'에 관한 연구이다. 마이즈너는 스타니슬라브스키가 얘기했던 배우훈련 에 있어 교감의 필요성을 확대하여 자신만의 방법론을 구축해나갔는데 대표적인 훈련법이 `반복훈련'이다. 마이즈너는 연기 상대와의 교감과 순간 반응을 통해 보다 더 본질적인 진실의 연기에 도달하는데 주 목하고 있다. 여기에 덧붙여 `순간반응'은 즉흥성 맥락과 맞닿아 있으며, 플레이백씨어터(Playback Theater)와 액션씨어터(ActionTheater)의 공연연기양식에서도 그 중요성이 확인되고 있다. 결국 이러한 연구를 통해 연기의 본질에 다가서려는 기초연기훈련과정으로서의 `주어진 상황'에 대한 인식을 보다 면밀히 고찰하고자 한다.
