This article cast light on the spatio-visuo-peaceful image of glocalized peace community in Paek Sŏk’s poems. By representing peace community, the poetic images are elusively symbolized in numerous ways in these poems: using the regional dialect of Chŏngju, P’yŏngbuk in North Korea; expressing the traditional feeling on Korean shamanism; giving off the local food; suggesting multiculturalism in Manchuria. These symbolized poetic atmospheres converge into the writer's intention of showing the spatial and visual/ethnic and world integration. According to the previous findings, this poet’s poetics has been revealed the perspective in the ground of ethnic identity. However, in this article I argue that he has also the multicultural identity based on the integrated imagination by spatio-visuo-peaceful signs from Chŏnju regional space. Namely, as a crucial metaphor of Maŭm in his poems, this topology with numerous emotional realities at the time toward the glocalized peace community is the special literary path for resonation with the readers by the poet himself.

본고는 백석 시에서 나타난 문학적 아우라, 일종의 차별적인 특유의 시적 분위기, 그 심상의 아우라가 시공간을 통합하는 토폴로지의 형상화를 통해 수평적인 구조의 세계평화공동체를 지향하는 작가의 의도와 매우 밀접하게 관련되어 생성된다는 점에 주목하여 그의 시들을 분석 해 보았다. 이를 통해 백석이 평안북도 정주 출신으로서 평생에 걸쳐 문화적 수평성, 평등성, 즉 시적인 다문화의 환상적 심상을 재현하는 데 있어 시공간적 통합성의 세계평화공동체의식 을 가장 중시해왔던 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 시인은 평북 정주 지역의 방언, 전통적인 음식, 샤 머니즘, 다문화주의 등 지역적인 경계를 넘어서서 국제적이고 보편적인 인류애를 실천하는 국 제-지역 평화공동체, 다시 말하자면 글로컬라이즈드 평화공동체를 작품 내적으로 은유화하여 형상화하면서 그 이상사회 인식의 정합적 구축에 일관되게 노력해왔다. 이는 바로 재북 시인 백석이 평안북도 정주 지역이라는 고향의 정서를 기반으로 하여 시공간적 평화심상을 상징하 는 토폴로지의 ‘마음’이라는 총체적 세계 인식으로 확장하면서 그려내고자 한 평화공동체의 한 모습이었던 것이다.
