The objective of this study is to examine the value and influence of literary educational counseling (literary therapy) as collective educational counseling in juvenile delinquents counseling. To that end, this study was conducted targeting commissioned juvenile for classification examination, who are those juvenile delinquents who are placed under less than one month of temporary protective detention before being tried in the court. Amid this situation, this study discussed the value of literary educational counseling (literary therapy) from the viewpoint of the therapy of complicated psychology and the best correction of delinquencies. First, the causes of juvenile delinquencies were examined based on the Symbolic interaction theory by which people behave according to their internal thoughts and interpretation of others' influence amid interaction. From this perspective, the literary appreciation and expression were presented as a way of fostering internal thinking power and interpretation ability, and of forming value system, self-concept and self-control. Literature was seen as functioning as a therapeutic dialogue medium for understanding and interpreting life as the human universal theme, and based on such therapeutic dialogue, the subjects were regarded as being able to form their own stories. In addition, literary therapy is valuable as the method of self therapy, continuous self-education, and cultivation of personality. However, for juvenile, who are in the process of growth, such education and counseling should continue to be provided, thus requiring such support. This study examined the actual cases of educational counseling for juvenile delinquents, making it more meaningful. Based on the findings of this study, the direction for education and counseling of delinquent juvenile was proposed, and the limitations of such efforts were also indicated.

본 연구는 비행청소년 집단교육상담으로서 문학교육상담(문학치료)의 가치와 영향력을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 소년분류심사 여자 위탁생을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 소년분류심사 위탁생은 문제 사건의 심리를 위해 1개월 이내의 임시 감호 조치를 받고 심판을 앞둔 상황의 비행청소년이다. 이러한 상황에서 복잡한 심리의 치유와 비행에 대한 최선의 교정이라는 관점에서 문학교육상담(문학치료)의 가치를 이 논문에서 전개했다. 우선 청소년비행 원인을 상호작용 속에서 타인의 영향에 대해 인간이 내면적 사고와 해석에 따라 행동한다는 상징적 상호작용 이론을 토대로 살펴보았다. 이러한 관점에서 내면적 사고와 해석 능력을 기르며 자기개념, 자기통제력, 가치관을 형성하는 방법으로서 문학 감상과 표현을 주장했다. 문학은 인간 보편적인 주제로 삶을 이해하고 해석하는 치유적`대화적 매개체로 기능하며, 이를 바탕으로 자기 이야기를 다시 구성할 수 있다고 보았다. 또한 문학치료는 자기치료와 지속적인 자기교육, 인격도야의 방법으로서 가치가 있다. 하지만 성장과정에 있는 청소년들에게는 이러한 방향의 교육과 상담이 계속 조력되어야 하므로 지역사회의 지원과 지지가 지속적으로 필요하다고 보았다. 본 연구는 비행청소년 문학교육상담의 실제를 사례로 이야기했으며 현장에서 고민하며 연구하고 실행한 결과물로서 의미가 있으며, 연구 결과를 토대로 비행청소년 교육과 상담의 방향을 제안하며 한편으로는 그 제한점을 제시했다.
