This research was carried out with the university students whose rate of use of the smartphone was high as the subjects in order to confirm the influences of the interpersonal relationship capability and the self-controlling ability on the smartphone addiction. China has traumatic historical memories of opium addiction. China, which waged war and signed an unequal treaty because of the opium, is implementing a strict control particularly on drug addiction. However, there is a lack of adequate awareness of opium in China, which often leads to drug abuse. In the private sector, opium is still used as a remedy, so there are cases where a child is treated for opiate addiction. Thus, the government and medical institutions realizedthe severity of drug addiction including opium addiction, and conducting a case study and seeking a countermeasure in this regard. This study examined the historical background of opium addiction in China, and the actual conditions, cases and countermeasures of drug addiction, especially opium addiction that has occurred in recent years.

중국은 역사적으로 아편중독으로 인한 아픈 상처가 있는 나라이다. 아편으로 인해 전쟁과 불평등 조약까지 맺었던 중국은 마약중독에 대해 특히 엄중하게 단속하고 있다. 하지만 아편에 대한 정확한 인식이 부족하여 마약을 오남용하는 경우가 많다. 민간에서는 아직도 아편을 치료제로 사용하고 있다. 어린 아기가 자신도 모르는 사이에 아편에 중독되어 치료받는 등의 사례들이 발생하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 아편을 비롯한 마약중독자와 관련 범죄가 날로 증가하고 있다. 이에 정부와 의료기관은 아편을 포함한 마약중독의 심각성을 인식하고 사례분석과 대안을 간구하고 있다. 본 논문은 중국인 아편중독의 역사적 배경과 중국에서 최근 몇 년간 발생한 마약중독 특이 아편중독의 실태와 사례 및 대처방안에 대해 고찰했다.
