This paper examines the rationale and practice that can be applied to the communication curriculum as liberal arts accounting. For this purpose, I first examined the structure of general type communication and the communicative attributes of accounting. After reviewing the general structure of communication, I compared and analyzed the communication structure of the major accounting. Based on this analysis, we focused on communication model through liberal arts accounting. As a result of the analysis, similarities and differences were found between the communication structure of liberal arts accounting and the communication structure of major accounting. Also, I found that the major accounting can be applied to liberal arts curriculum in the form of liberal arts accounting in order to improve general communication ability. Based on this analysis, this paper developed a creative communication model through liberal arts accounting and suggested a method of applying it to liberal arts accounting.

본 연구는 의사소통 교육과정으로 교양회계가 적용될 수 있는 이론적 근거와 실천 방안을 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 일반적인 의사소통과 회계의 의사소통적 특성을 먼저 검토하였다. 그리고 일반적인 형태의 의사소통 구조를 검토한 후 전공회계를 통한 의사소통 구조와 비교·분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 교양회계를 통한 의사소통모델을 중점적으로 모색하였다. 분석 결과 교양목적의 의사소통 구조와 전공회계의 의사소통 구조 간에는 유사점과 차이점이 발견되었다. 또한 전공회계는 일반적인 의사소통역량을 제고하기 위하여 교양회계의 형식으로 교양교육과정에 접목될 수 있음을 발견하였다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 본 연구는 교양회계를 통한 의사소통모델을 창의적으로 개발하였으며 이를 교양회계에 적용하는 방법론도 제시하였다.
