Fear of death is getting bigger because of rumors of the Korean War, natural disasters and diseases. There are many reasons that physical, mental, social, natural and philosophical, religious, and spiritual reasons for fear of death. In this paper, Korean Christians have confused the concept of death because of different concepts of death in many religions that Koreans mainly believe. It was also found that mixed the concept of death was also made confused with the question of salvation after death. In addition, many people are experiencing a lot of fear of death. Therefore, I studied the relationship between the fear of death and the assurance of salvation. In this study, 85% believed that he could be going to heaven after death, but further investigation found that only 25% of Christian Saints were convinced that they could be saved by grace of the Holy Spirit even though they were afraid of death. Interestingly, anyone who replied that the fear of death can not be resolved by the grace of the Holy Spirit, said that everyone can not go to heaven 100% in this result. Fear of death is a spiritual matter. Human beings are holistic beings, combination of spirit / soul / heart / thinking / body. In particular, the relationship between the fear of death and the assurance of salvation is a matter that must be treated more spiritually. In Christians can solve this spiritual problem, they will need to be resolved by the pastor, not the psychologist. Despite prevalence in psychology in the church, 60% of the church members wanted to be a minister who could help solve the fear of death problem. This spiritual problem can be dealt with in the church, though it is not only that the church is not well educated about death, and the pastor has no experience in solving spiritual problems. To this end, I would like to suggest a few things. First, it is necessary to educate about death, resurrection, and eternal life. Second, it is better to worship service before the end of death than after the end of death, Third, we should be more interested in care of nursing facilities or hospice ministry, Fourthly, need to be the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

한국전쟁의 소문과 자연재해, 질병 등으로 인해 죽음의 두려움은 점점 더 커져만 가고 있다. 죽음의 두려움을 주는 요인들은 신체적인 이유, 정신적인 이유, 사회적인 이유, 자연과 철학적인 이유와 종교적인 이유들, 그리고 영적인 이유들이 있다. 이 논문에서는 한국인들이 주로 믿는 여러 종교에서 말하는 죽음에 대한 서로 다른 개념들로 인하여 한국의 기독교인들이 죽음에 대한 혼동된 개념을 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 많은 사람들이 죽음의 두려움을 많이 경험하고 있는 것과 이런 혼합된 죽음에 대한 개념으로 인하여 사후에 있을 구원의 문제도 역시 혼동하고 있음을 알게 되었다. 이로 인하여 죽음의 두려움과 구원의 확신과의 연관성에 대하여 연구하였다. 이 연구에서, 85%는 죽음 후에 자신이 천국에 갈수 있다고는 믿고 있지만, 더 깊숙이 조사를 해보면 죽음을 두려워하고 있음에도 불구하고 성령의 도우시므로 구원을 받을 수 있다고 확신하는 기독교 성도는 25%에 불과하다는 결과가 나왔다. 흥미로운 것은 죽음의 두려움을 성령님의 은혜로는 해결할 수 없다고 응답한 사람, 모두는 100% 천국에 갈수 없다고 대답하였다. 인간은 전인적인 존재로, 영(spirit), 혼(soul), 마음(heart), 생각(thinking), 육체(body) 등이 연합적으로 이루어져 있다. 죽음의 두려움은 영적인 문제이다. 특별히 죽음의 두려움과 구원의 확신과의 관계는 더욱 영적인 면에서 다루어져야만 하는 문제이다. 크리스천들에게 이런 영적인 문제를 해결할 수 있는 곳은 심리학자가 아닌 목회자에게서 해결을 받아야 할 것이다. 교회 안에 심리학이 만연해 있음에도 불구하고, 교인들은 이 문제를 해결하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 분은 목사이기를 60%가 원하였다. 교인들의 영적인 문제를 다룰 수 있는 곳은 교회뿐임에도 불구하고 교회에서 죽음에 대한 교육이 잘 이루어지지 않으며, 목회자 역시 영적인 문제를 해결할 수 있는 경험이 적기 때문이라고 볼 수 있다. 이를 위해 필자는 네 가지를 제안하고자 한다. 죽음과 부활, 영생에 대한 교육의 필요성, 생전에 임종예배의 필요성, 요양보호시설이나 호스피스 사역에 대한 관심, 목회자의 성령의 충만함 삶이 중요하다.
