This article is to explore a way for overcoming distorted views in relation to psychological health and spiritual growth and to suggest a notion about intercontextuality of hermeneutics. Intercontextuality of hermeneutics is about to emphasize the necessity and importance of dialogue through rich understanding and interpretation of the Bible and human beings. Christian hermeneutics can be lavish when conversation can be done through understanding and interpretation of the Bible, human beings and the world. The reason for this is that acknowledging intercontextuality can bring a total understanding of a text can be much richer when it is interdependent with other texts and also when each text is in relation to the larger and more meaningful ones. This article looks into the importance of interpretation of human beings as an ethnography. In particular, discussing about the understanding emotional world of a human being and its dynamics, it illuminates that emotions work as a driving force for motivation and action of a human being. This brings to suggest that spiritual growth of a person and the church community is in the organic relationship. Furthermore, it emphasizes that emotional health can play a significant role in the quality of living relationship with God, and also stresses the importance of recognition of emotional dynamics for spiritual growth.

본 논문은 정서적 건강과 영적 성장의 관계에 대한 왜곡된 인식을 극복하기 방안으로 해석학의 상호텍스트성을 제시하였다. 해석학의 상호텍스트성은 성경과 인간에 대한 풍부한 이해와 해석을 통한 대화의 필요성과 중요성에 대한 인식을 제시한다. 기독교 해석학은 성경과 인간과 창조된 세상에 대한 이해와 해석을 통하여 유기적인 대화가 이루어질 때 더욱 풍성해 질 수 있다. 나아가 상호텍스트성에 대한 인식은 한 본문(text)의 의미는 다른 본문들과 상호의존성을 인식함으로써 더 풍성하게 될 뿐만 아니라 각각의 본문들은 그 자체보다는 더 크고 더 의미 있는 것들의 합이어야 하기 때문이다. 본 논문은 이러한 해석학적 인식아래 살아있는 문서로서 인간에 대한 해석의 중요성을 밝혔다. 특히 살아있는 문서로서 인간의 내면세계의 정서의 이해와 역학에 대하여 논하였다. 이러한 논의를 통하여 정서는 인간의 동기와 행동의 원동력으로 작용한다는 것을 밝혔다. 즉, 한 개인의 영적 성장과 교회 공동체의 영적 성숙은 건강한 정서 체계와 매우 유기적인 관계 안에 있다는 것을 제시하였다. 나아가 정서적 건강이 하나님과의 생동적인 관계의 질에 매우 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다는 것과 영적 성장을 위한 정서적 역학(dynamic)에 대한 인식의 중요성을 강조하였다.
