The therapeutic horse riding started from the ancient Greek literature and in England, Hunt dopted therapy of the concept by the horse riding. Recently, the hipotherapy became famous after the establishment of KRA(Korea Racing Authority) and Riding Center for the rehabilitation of Samsung Equestrian Team in South Korea. Very recently, it is contained within in national qualification that certifiacation as a therapeutic horse riding teacher. Now, Yongin University curriculum has a subjedt of equestrian for disabled and there is a department of horse therapy welfare in Sungduk College University. Also, it has been stuied that equestrian education has a positive effect on the children with psychologically and mentally developmental disabilities. Furthermore, the horse riding program has shown positive effects on athletic ability, the ability to make an order, manners, social skills and so on. In this paper, we study about the behavioral relevance for the children with developmental disabilities in horse-riding activites by researching the papers of the other authors. Espeially, we survey by extracting and classifing there characteristics which are brain lesion, intellectual disability, autistic disorder from the children to proper riding training. And we suggest some part of possibility to improve research of therapeutic horse riding, and solution for early intervention and activating the hipotherapy.
