This study analyzes the research trends of 229 papers of ‘Buddhist bibliography’ published in Journal of the Institute of Korea Bibliography(Seojihak Yeongu) from its first issue (1986) to volume 70 (2017.6). 1) It is evaluated that 62 papers on Tripitaka and Jejonggyojang established firmly a bibliographical foundation in studying Tripitaka and Jejonggyojang. 2) 119 papers on various individual Buddhist literatures and temple-editions are evaluated to investigate various aspects and bibliographical identity of Buddhist publications, especially in the field of analytical bibliography and textual bibliography. 3) It can be evaluated that researches on the culture of printing with wood blocks and metal movable types in Korea and the world with a focus on Mugujeonggwanggyeong․Jikji․Nammyongsongjeungdoga, accomplished a great academic achievement in purely bibliographical subjects, especially including the technology of casting individual metal movable types, respectively used for printing Jikji and Nammyongsongjeungdoga. 4) In diachronic terms, ① the early researches from the first issue to the issues of the late 20th century began with the general and essential investigations of Buddhist scriptures and Tripitaka in Korean bibliographical study and expanded the horizon of Buddhism bibliography. ② the mid- and late researches since the 21st century have actively dealt with a variety of topics, including ‘studies on various individual Buddhist scriptures’ and ‘gugyeol’ and transcription of Buddhist scriptures, Zen writings, scriptures of esoteric Buddhism, and other Buddhist scriptures, and achieve a remarkable outcome from lasting and various perspectives.

이 논문은 ｢書誌學硏究｣ 창간호(1986)부터 제70집(2017.6)까지에 게재된 ‘229편’의 불교서지학 논문에 관한 연구동향을 분석한 연구이다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) ‘大藏經 관련 연구 62편’에서는, 大藏經과 諸宗敎藏에 관한 서지학적 基盤硏究의 성과가 축적되었다고 분석되었다. 2) ‘單位佛書 관련 연구 119편’에서는, 形態書誌學과 原文書誌學 영역에서 중점적으로 연구되면서, 佛書 간행의 正體性 및 여러 현상들을 연구하였다고 분석되었다. 3) 한국인쇄문화 관련 연구 분야에서는 ｢無垢淨光經｣․｢直指｣․｢南明頌證道歌｣를 대상으로 하여 분석한 결과, 목판인쇄 및 ‘金屬活字의 鑄造法’ 등 서지학 本然의 체계적인 연구 성과를 달성하였음을 파악하였다. 4) 통시적으로는, ① 창간호부터 20세기말까지의 초창기 연구에서는 한국서지학 연구에서 개괄적이고 필수적인 佛書 및 대장경 관련 연구부터 시도되면서 불교서지학의 地平을 차츰 넓혀 나갔다고 분석되었다. ② 21세기 이후의 중․후기 연구에서는, ‘개개 佛經에 대한 연구’를 비롯하여 ‘佛經의 口訣․寫經․禪書․密敎經典․기타 佛書’ 등 다양한 연구주제들을 활발하게 전개하면서, 지속적이고 다채로운 관점에서의 연구 성과들을 구축하였다고 분석되었다.
