The purpose of this study is to clarify the meaning of Q&E learning, one of the nationwide popular learning methods and to establish the academic basis of Q&E learning by analyzing and discussing the implications of the teaching-learning model and theoretical backgrounds. For this the educational philosophy and teachinglearning model, theoretical background of Q&E learning was reviewed. The Q stands for Question and E stands for Explain in Q&E learning, the two important flows in the Q&E learning process. Q&E learning is emphasized in the 2015 revised curriculum, and the class is based on student participation instead of the teacher’s lessons. Q&E learning was developed for use by Park, Soonduk, Son, Haeseon head teachers’ action research, implemented and revised over many years. Q&E learning is a method optimized for class and educational practice, supporting achievement standards and goal attainment within the unit class sessions. This study will provide the academic basis for Q&E learning and will guide teachers using Q&E learning in their classrooms.

본 연구는 현재 전국적으로 확산되고 있는 학습 방법 중의 하나인 큐앤이학습에 대한 교육적 의의를 정립하고, 큐앤이 교수학습 모형과 이론적 배경 등을 분석하여 큐앤이학 습의 학문적 기초를 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 큐앤이학습의 교육철학과 교수학습 모형, 이론적 배경을 학문적으로 고찰하였다. Q&E 학습의 Q는 질문하다(Question) E는 설명하다(Explain)의 약자로 수업의 중 요한 흐름이 질문하기와 설명하기로 이루어지는 학습법이다. 큐앤이학습은 2015개정 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 학생참여 중심 수업으로 교사주도적인 학습이 아니라 학생 이 자기주도적으로 참여하는 학습이다. 큐앤이학습은 손해선 수석교사가 창안하고 박 순덕 수석교사가 실행연구를 주도하여 공동으로 개발하고 보급하였다. 본 연구에는 전 국의 약 200여명의 수석교사들이 함께 참여하였다. 실행연구를 바탕으로 하여 전국의 수석교사들이 다년간 교실에서 적용해 보고, 문제점을 개선하여 현재의 보급 가능한 큐 앤이학습 방법으로 완성되었다. 큐앤이학습은 단위수업 시간에 성취기준과 학습목표에 도달할 수 있도록 우리 교실 현실과 교육상황에 최적화 시킨 독창적인 학습방법이다. 따 라서 큐앤이학습은 2015개정 교육과정에서 요구하는 창의융합인재를 기르는데 최적의 학습방법으로써 교사들에게 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
