Modern society has prosperous materials and convenient life system, but many people seem to feel poverty in the midst of plenty and think them to be unhappy. Abundance stimulates human beings’ needs further. When the needs are unmet, human beings feel unhappy and have suffering. However, because human can feel happy and enjoy happiness ourselves even though they are not rich, they have to learn that they can live well without rich materials. Therefore, humans needs to receive a good education from an early age, which is that human beings live well without rich materials. To live well means to live with a feeling of happiness. Euphoria plays a significant role in fostering the human personality. Good human personality can be made through conducting filial duty for their parents. Practicing filial duty for their parents is from education. Thus, because the means building happiness will be to have good human personality through practicing filial duty for their parents and education, education for happiness to human beings education will be inevitable. In this study, first of all, I will search the concepts and the direction of the education for happiness to elementary, middle and high school students. Next, I will analyze the concepts and the direction from a vantage point of ‘the right to pursue one’s happiness’, ‘humanistic education’, ‘overcoming neoliberal capitalism.’ Finally, I will investigate the effect of conducting education for happiness on filial piety and personality

현대사회는 물질이 풍요롭고 편리한 생활시스템으로 정착되었다고 볼 수 있다. 하지만 많은 사람들은 풍요속의 빈곤에 허덕이고 행복해 하지 않는 사람들이 더 많다. 풍요는 인간의 욕구를 더욱 자극시키고 욕구가 충족되지 않을 때 괴로워하고 불행을 느낀다. 따라서 인간은 어릴 때부터 잘살아 가는 교육을 받을 의무가 대두된다. 잘 살아가는 것, 그것은 행복을 느끼는 것이다. 행복감은 인간의 인성함양에 상당한 역할이 된다. 그리 고 인성이 좋아진다면 부모에게 효를 실천하게 하고, 인간관계를 원만하게 이룰 수 있는 단초가 된다. 따라서 인간에게는 행복교육이 필연적이라 할 수 있다. 행복교육은 아이 들의 성장과 성격발달뿐만 아니라 좋은 인간관계 형성에 도움을 준다. 또한, 행복교육은 학생들의 창의와 감성을 위한 끼. 꾼. 꿈의 교육으로 글로벌 리더 인재의 주요 덕목인 효 실천을 기본 으로 융합형 사고력과 창의와 바른 인성에 기초한 감성으로 설정하고 이를 증진하기 위하여 끼. 꾼. 꿈의 교육 비전을 제시한다. 행복교육의 목표는 학습자들이 긍정적인 자아개념을 확립하고 환경의 충분한 조건 속에서 능동적으로 학습할 수 있는 능력을 길러 주는 것이며 학습을 통해 스스로 행복해 지는 능력을 키워 주는 것이며, 홀리스틱 교육에서 본 행복교육 역시 모든 것들과의 관 계성을 중요시하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 행복교육이 무엇인지 그 개념을 살펴본 후, 행복교육이 나아가 야 할 방향을 ‘행복추구권 충족’, ‘인본주의 교육 추구’, ‘신자유주의적 자본주의 극복’, ‘전 인교육의 실천’이라는 관점에서 분석하고, 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 “행복교육이 효와 인 성에 미치는 영향”이 무엇인지에 대하여 그 방향을 제시해 보고자 한다.
