This study introduced a national standard program for juvenile delinquents and conducted in-depth interview on students who completed the program to analyze the motivating factors and experiences of juvenile delinquents in order to take the standard program and explore the aspect of transition in delinquents behaviors after entering high school. As a result, the national standard program for adolescents predicted and prevented the potential of second delinquency in adolescents. Accordingly, it led to adaption in school life, solution of problems in the family of origin, and minimization in the ratio of second conviction for adolescents. During the process of executing the program, it was identified that research participants with international migration background showed changes in their attitude of accommodating multicultural perception and diversity. Still, the issue of discrimination that exists in schools remain as an area of concern that requires a solution. Therefore, this research proved that multicultural education is needed for all teachers, not only those who are in charge of students with multicultural backgrounds, and that improvement of perception in multiculturalism is needed above all.

본 연구는 비행 청소년대상 표준선도프로그램을 소개하고 과정 이수 후 프로그램에 참여한 다문화가정 자녀대상의 심층인터뷰를 통하여 청소년 비행 동기의 요인과 경험의 유형을 분석함으로써 표준선도프로그램을 경험한 학생들이 고등학교 진학 후 비행 태도 에 대한 변화된 양상을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과 청소년대상 표준선도프로그램 은 청소년의 재비행 가능성을 예측하고 예방하여 학교생활 적응과 원가족 문제해결, 그 리고 청소년 재범률이 최소화 하는 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 프로그램 진행 과정에서 국제이주 배경을 가진 연구참여자들은 다문화 인식과 다양성에 대해 수용하는 태도의 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 그럼에도 학교현장에서 존재하는 차별의 잔재는 앞으로 해결 되어야 할 과제로 남아 있었다. 이는 다문화담당 교사뿐만 아니라 학과를 담당하고 있는 모든 교사들의 다문화에 대한 인식의 재고가 필요함을 의미하는 것이었다. 본 연구의 결 과를 통해 본 선도프로그램이 학교현장에서의 다문화인식 개선 교육으로서 기여할 수 있을 것으로 본다.
