In this study, we examined schemes of performing career coaching through the reorganization of curriculum for primary school students, for which we reviewed plans to prepare curriculum based on both essential achievement standards and key competencies, to perform career coaching through the creative experiences, to form a career coaching network between school, home and social community and to activate it. Thus, the current study showed the following results: For the promotion of the recognition of career development through systematic career coaching, an ability to develop career should be considered key competence. This should also be accompanied by the reorganization of curriculum considering essential achievement standards as well as the extraction of achievement criteria associated with an ability to develop career. Thus, this will eventually contribute to raising the degree of students’ recognition of career development. To ensure that students should be given a variety of experiences with career in a real school setting, the domain of career activities for the creative experiences, introduced from the 2009’s revision of curriculum, may be actively used. For the effective career coaching, it is mandatory to form a network between school, home and social community. Based on the above results, we propose the following schemes of performing career coaching through the reorganization of curriculum for primary school students: It is necessary to enhance teachers’ ability to reorganize curriculum. It is necessary to implement programs by which experienced-based creative activiies should be guaranteed. It is necessary to develop CRM(creative activity resource map) in a customizable manner to the regional characteristics of each school and needs of teachers, students and parents.

본 연구는 교육과정 재구성을 통한 초등학교 진로교육 실천방안에 대해, 핵심성취기 준과 핵심역량을 연계한 교과 교육과정 편성 방안, 창의적 체험활동을 통한 진로교육 방 안, 학교·가정·지역사회와 연계한 초등학교 진로교육 네트워크 구축 및 활성화 방안 으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 첫째, 체계적인 진로교육을 통한 학생들의 진로의 식 함양을 위해서는 진로개발능력을 핵심역량으로 삼고, 각 교과에서 진로개발능력과 관련된 성취기준을 추출하고, 핵심성취기준을 고려한 교육과정 재구성이 이루어져야 학생들의 진로의식 함양에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 둘째, 학교 현장에서의 학생들에게 다양 한 진로체험 활동의 여건을 보장하기 위해서는 2009 개정교육과정에서 도입된 창의적 체험활동의 진로활동 영역을 적극 활용 할 수 있다. 셋째, 효과적인 진로교육이 이루어 지기 위해서는 학교·가정·지역사회가 연계한 네트워크 구축이 필요하다. 위의 결과를 바탕으로 교육과정 재구성을 통한 초등학교 진로교육 실천 방안에 대한 제언을 하면 첫째, 교사들의 교육과정 재구성 능력이 향상되어야 한다. 둘째, 체험위주 의 창의적 체험활동을 보장하기 위한 프로그램을 구안할 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 각 학교 의 지역적 특징, 교사·학생·학부모의 요구에 맞는 학교별 창의적 체험 자원 지도의 개발이 필요하다.
