Increase of immigrant women for marriage has received a high level of attention for social integration measures. Recognition of the immigrant women’s strengths and competence amidst the globalization has brought about an increase in career training for immigrant women. Against this backdrop, this study conducts analysis of trainees’ needs of Multicultural Teacher Training Course in order to increase the participation and satisfaction of immigrant women. The study thereby seeks to provide alternatives which enables a more effective operation of the course. By studying and analyzing the employment aspect of immigrant women and current status of human resources training course and employment policy for immigrant women, we have produced a list of questions. This study selects of Incheon A center and Youngin B center, who have respectively completed the multicultural teacher training course, and conducted in-depth interviews and collected documents and conducted analysis. We have codified and defined the scope of the demands of the Multicultural Teacher Training Course in accordance with the constant comparative method, which was developed by Strauss and Cabin. As a result, we have produced three topics, six sub topics and fourteen sub-code. As a result of this study, we have discovered that they desire practical training such as attend classes and writing lesson plans rather than the theoretical aspect. Therefore, a variety of didactics and accumulation of experience suggested by this study will be a useful case study for promoting a change of attitude and a capability.

최근 한국 사회에서 여성결혼이민자의 증가는 사회통합대책의 중요한 관심대상이 되 고 있으며, 세계화, 국제화 시대 여성결혼이민자의 잠재적 가능성 및 장점의 인식은 여성 결혼이민자 교육관련 취업교육의 증가를 가져왔다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 여성결혼이 민자의 취업지원 중 하나인 다문화강사 양성과정 프로그램에 대한 교육생의 요구분석을 통해 여성결혼이민자들의 만족도와 참여도를 높이고, 그에 대한 개선방안을 모색하여 효율적인 운영을 위한 방향을 제시하고자함에 있다. 이를 위해 여성결혼이민자 교육관 련 취업 사항과 인력 양성과정 현황 및 여성결혼이민자 취업정책을 살펴보는 선행 연구 와 분석을 통해 연구 질문을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 다문화강사 양성과정을 수료한 인천 A센터와 용인B센터의 슈퍼바이저 7명을 연구 참여자로 선정하고 이들을 대상으로 심층 면접을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 여성결혼이민자의 다문화강사 양성과정 프로 그램에 대한 프로그램 요구를 심층인터뷰(constant comparative method)의 단계에 따 라 Strauss와 Corbin이 제시한 대로 부호화하고 범주화하여 3개의 주제, 6개의 부주제, 14개의 하위코드가 도출되었다. 다문화강사 양성과정 교육생의 요구분석을 통한 본 연구결과 다문화강사 양성과정 수 료 후 바로 활동가로 활동하기 위해서 다문화에 대한 이론적 교육에 치중하기 보다는 실 제적인 교육 즉, 실습 및 참관수업과 교안작성 등의 체계적인 교육과정을 원하고 있는 것 으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안한 다문화강사 양성과정 프로그램 중 다양한 교 수법과 실습을 통한 경험의 축적은 향후 여성결혼이민자들의 다문화강사로서의 역량과 교사로서의 인식 및 태도 변화를 도모하는데 더욱 유익한 연구 및 현장 사례가 될 것이다.
