In 2016, the Soraepogu Festival emerged as a representative tourist attraction in the metropolitan area by expressing the past, present and future of a natural harbor festival with the slogan of "Soseono Olae". In particular, as the 2016 festival provided a variety of performances and experience events on the history of Soseono and Baekje kingdom, it created a new culture festival with a lot of sightseeing and enjoyment beyond the previous food festival focusing on Sorae seafood. The purpose of this study is to analyze the storytelling characteristics of the Soraepogu festival. Therefore, storytelling structure is divided into story and telling, whose sub-elements also are analyzed as cases. As a result, the festival of Sorae Port described the narrative structure of storytelling to use the character of Soseono . Second, the Sorae Port Festival reflects the topographical characteristics of Sorae Port and Sorae Wetland Ecological Park. Especially, it was planned so that visitors could feel the mood and romance of the Port. Third, the festival of Sorae Port was a field of communities where festivals and spectators could interact their telling properties. However, there are suggestions in order to raise the pride of local residents and contribute to the regional development. First, there is not something impressive in the name of 'Soraepogu Festival', so the consensus of residents should be formed first. Second, it is necessary to develop programs related to tourism resources in the vicinity of Namdong-gu. Third, local residents should be encouraged to actively participate the festival.

2016년 소래포구축제는 “소서노 올래”라는 슬로건으로 정체성이 살아있는 천연포구축제로서의 과거와 현재 및 미래를 표현함으로써 수도권을 대표하는 관광명소로 자리매김하였다. 특히, 2016년 소래포구축제는 소서노와 백제건국의 역사를 담은 다양한 공연과 체험행사를 새로이 마련함으로써 그동안 소래 수산물 위주의 먹거리축제에서 볼거리와 즐길거리가 함께하는 새로운 문화축제의 모습을 보여줬다. 본 연구는 소래포구축제의 스토리텔링 속성을 분석해서 축제 기획 및 연출 시에 고려해야 할 요소들을 제시하였다. 따라서 스토리텔링 구조를 이야기(story)와 표현(telling)으로 구분하였으며, 이야기 구조의 속성으로서 하위 요소들과, 표현적 구조의 속성으로서 하위 요소들을 소래포구축제를 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과 소래포구축제는 소서노라는 인물을 활용하여 스토리텔링의 이야기 구조를 잘 담고 있었다. 둘째, 소래포구축제는 소래포구와 소래습지생태공원이라는 지형적 특성을 잘 반영하고 있었다. 특히, 관람객들에게 포구의 정취와 낭만을 느낄 수 있도록 기획하였다. 셋째, 소래포구축제는 표현(telling) 속성들이 잘 드러남으로써 축제와 관람객들이 상호작용할 수 있는 공동체의 장을 이루고 있었다. 하지만 소래포구축제가 지역주민의 자긍심을 높이고 지역발전에 크게 이바지하기 위해서는 다음과 같은 몇 가지 개선해야할 점이 있다. 첫째, 지역주민의 적극적인 참여를 유도해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 남동구 인근의 관광자원과 연계한 프로그램을 개발하는 전략을 도모해야 할 것이다.
