The purpose of this paper is to reveal the code of Donghak that appeared in . It is a work of poet Kim Ji-ha in the 1980s that formed the important node of modern and contemporary history in Korea. The poet Kim Ji - ha is a poet who can not be omitted when discussing the 1980s, and has influenced the history of literature, ideology, and movement. This work contains the images of the time of '80s', expressing the emotions of the times and presenting the tasks at the same time. This work is typical of the 1980s and can be regarded as one of an excellent singing of modern Korean poetry. The contents of this study are follows. Three codes of freedom, life and human that revealed through a study of Donghak 's code in the works of modern Korean poetrywere compared with that in the . This study is focusing on extracting codes inherent in that is the subject of this study. The was a symbol of the democratization movement in the 1980s and was also a life-recovery movement. In Donghak, awareness of human life and its practice are important values. Also, the will to freedom is an important value in Donghak. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the code revealed in exists in common with the code of 'freedom, life, human' revealed by the code of contemporary poetry based on Donghak. It was found that the value given in Donghak for 'Human, Life and Freedom' functions in the same context in the . In this respect, it was revealed that the code revealed through the works of modern poetry based on Donghak and the code of this work were shared.

이 연구의 목적은 <타는 목마름으로>에 나타난 동학의 코드를 밝히는 것이 다. <타는 목마름으로>는 김지하 시인의 작품으로 우리나라 근현대사의 중요한 마디를 형성한 1980년대의 작품이다. 김지하 시인은 1980년대를 논할 때 비켜갈 수 없는 시인이며, 문학사나 사상사, 그리고 운동사의 면에서 두루 영향을 끼친 인물이다. 이 작품은 ‘80년대’라는 시대의 모습을 담고 있으면서 그것을 통해 시대의 정서를 표현하고 동시에 과제를 제시하고 있다. 이 작품은 1980년대의 전형이면서 한국 현대시의 절창의 하나라고 평가될 수 있다. 이 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 한국 현대시의 작품에서 동학의 코드를 연구한 논문에서 밝혀진 ‘자유와 생명과 인간’의 세 코드와 <타는 목마름으로>의 코드를 비교하는 것이다. 이 논문의 연구 대상인 <타는 목마름으로>에 내재한 코드를 추출하는 것이 연구의 중심이다. <타는 목마름으로>는 1980년대 민주화 운동의 표상이면서 생명 회복 운동이기도 했다. 동학에서 인간의 생명에 대한 자각과 그것의 실천이 중요한 가치이다. 또한 자유에 대한 의지도 동학에서 중요한 가치이다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. <타는 목마름으로>에서 밝혀진 코드가 동학을 소재로 한 현대시 작품의 코드로 밝혀진 ‘자유, 생명, 인간’의 코드와 공통으로 존재함이 드러났다. ‘인간과 생명과 자유’에 대한 동학에서의 가치 부여가 <타는 목마름으로>에서 같은 맥락으로 작용하고 있음을 발견하였다. 그런 점에서 동학을 소재로 한 현대시 작품을 통해 드러난 코드와 이 작품의 코드가 공유됨이 드러났다.
