- This study is to examine the relationships between managerial skills and performance of venture companies in Korea. To achive this purpose, 5 hypotheses and additional hypotheses were established and an empirical study is conducted.The finding show that CEO's managerial skills is low in venture companies and that job satisfaction and organizational commitment is low also. The relationship between perception of CEO's managerial skills and performance, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, are significantly correlated. The difference that demographic variables have on CEO's management skills was examined. Variables like a social background, education level, age have a significant difference.The implications of this study are that low performance is significantly related with low managerial skills in venture companies in korea. Therefore managerial educations are required to develop the managerial skills of the venture CEOs.
