Convention industry is very visionary in that it can give us high economic impacts. Many countries make efforts to promote this industry as one of the community industries and set the policy to meet the requirements of facilities and its effective management of the conventions. This paper attempts to analyze the spill-over effects of international road-traffic convention. More specifically, production-inducing effect, value-added inducing effect, and employment-inducing effect are explored. According to the results, the budget size of 2009 road-traffic conventions is estimated as 2,589 million won, and the production-inducing effect, value-added-inducing effect and employment-inducing effect of 2009 road-traffic conventions are measured to be 3,810 million won, 569 million won and 46 persons, respectively. These quantitative information can be usefully utilized in the policy-making for the road-traffic conventions.
