The purpose of this article is to introduce about the Korean old books in Keimyung University Dongsan Library. For this purpose, this article was described as history of collecting items, composition of books, and major items. Dongsan Library has collected old documents since 1968, and it has own around 76,500 volumes. Among those, 93 volumes of 21 types in total have been designated as national treasures and 9 volumes of 4 types have been local cultural properties. These cultural heritage are core collection in Dongsan Library. Major items are introduced into category as bestowed books by Kings, genealogy books, rare books, manuscript books, and chinese or japanese old books. Bestowed books by Kings are 67 types, including Ganii byoenbang (簡易辟瘟方) published in 1613. Genealogy books are around 14,000 volumes including 40 volumes published before 1700. Rare books are Yihakjinam (吏學指南) written in Imun (吏文) and Uhyeokbang (牛疫方) about veterinary medicine translated chinese character into Hangul. Manuscript books are 6,800 volumes including Gwagang gangui (課講講義) recorded question and answer between the king and the subjects about the confucian scriptures. Chinese old books are 6,000 volumes including Hyosunsasil (孝順事實) published in 1420. Japanese old books are around 300 volumes.

본고는 계명대학교 동산도서관의 고문헌에 대한 현황과 개괄적 소개를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 고문헌 수집, 자료 구성, 주요 자료 소개 항목으로 나누어 기술하였다. 동산도서관의 고문헌 수집은 1969년 오산 홍정수 선생의 자료 1,800여 책의 기증을 시작으로 1970년대부터 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 2016년 기준으로 76,530점(고서 72,849점, 고문서 3,012점, 목판 669점)이 수장되어 있으며, 이 가운데 『신한첩(곤)』포함 25종 102책이 지정문화재이다. 비지정 문화재에 대해서는 『간이벽온방(1613)』등 내사본류, 『영산김씨세계(1684)』 등 족보류, 『우역방(1644)』 등 희귀본류, 『과강강의(1783~1784)』 등 필사본류, 『효순사실(1420)』 등 중국․일본 고서류로 구분하여 간략히 소개하였다.
