The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of differentiation strategy and dynamic absorptive capacity in this born global firms. Six hypotheses were set among the main factors and the structural equation model was conducted using the PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis for 135 born global firms in high-tech manufacturing industries. As a result of this analysis, the differentiation strategy of born global firms showed significant influence on the factors of dynamic absorptive capacity, namely exploratory learning, exploitive learning, and transformative learning. In the relationship between dynamic absorptive capacity and innovation performance, exploratory learning and exploitive learning, except for transformative learning, had a significant effect on innovation performance. Based on the results of the analysis, this study discussed the theoretical and practical implications of the differentiation strategy and dynamic absorptive capacity of the born global firms.

본 연구는 한국 본 글로벌 기업을 대상으로 차별화 전략과 동적흡수역량, 혁신성과의 관계를 통합적으로 살펴본 실증분석을 진행했다. 동적흡수역량은 지식기반관점 이론 에 따라 탐색적 학습, 활용적 학습, 전환 학습으로 구분하여 적용하였다. 이로써 창업 직후 해외시장 진출 속도가 빠른 본 글로벌 기업에 차별화 전략과 동적흡수역량의 역할 을 분석할 목적을 설정하였다. 주요 요인 사이에 6개의 가설을 설정하고 135개의 첨단 제조 산업 중심의 본 글로벌 기업을 대상으로 구조방정식 모형을 사용하여 PLS(Partial Least Square) 분석을 진행하였다. 분석 결과 본 글로벌 기업의 차별화 전략은 동적흡 수역량 요인, 즉 탐색적 학습, 활용적 학습, 전환 학습에 모두 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 동적흡수역량과 혁신성과 관계에서는 전환 학습을 제외한 탐색적 학습과 활용적 학습이 혁신성과에 유의한 영향을 주었다. 해당 분석 결과를 기반으로 본 글로벌 기업의 차별화 전력과 동적흡수역량 분석이 갖는 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 논의했으며, 앞으로 연구 방향을 제시했다.
