The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding and misunderstanding of elementary school teachers' model of sports education from an integrated point of view. In this study, data were collected through participation observation, teacher's class diary, interview, and analyzed the data based on the analysis of space and classification proposed by Spradley (1979). First, to increase the participation level by self-learning process so that the model can be operated properly in the process of applying the sports education model, to grow and change by participating in cooperative learning, to demonstrate ability by checking learning process of learners, And experience of responsibility, and educating the whole person with integrated teaching and learning activities. Second, misconceptions such as emphasizing learner's experience rather than content proficiency, limiting to traditional group competition and competition-oriented activities, and looking at competition as non-educational side were categorized. This study will help teachers to understand the contents of understanding and misunderstanding that may arise in applying the model of sports education.

이 연구는 초등 교사가 통합적 관점에서 스포츠교육모형의 이해와 오해를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이 연구는 참여관찰, 교사의 수업일지, 인터뷰 등으로 자료를 수집하였고, Spradley(1979)가 제안한 영역 분석과 분류 분석을 토대로 자료를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠교육모형을 적용하는 과정에서 해당 모형이 바르게 운영될 수 있도록 자율적 학습 과정으로 참여도 높이기, 협동학습의 참여로 성장하고 변화하기, 학습자의 학습전개 과정 확인으로 능력 발휘하기, 사회적 상호작용과 책임감 경험하기 그리고 통합적 교수·학습 활동으로 전인을 양성하기 등의 내용이 범주화되었다. 둘째, 스포츠교육모형을 적용하는 과정에서 내용 숙달보다는 학습자 경험을 강조하기, 전통적인 단체경기 및 경쟁 성향의 활동으로 한정하기, 경쟁을 비교육적인 측면으로 바라보기 등의 오해가 범주화되었다. 이 연구는 교사들에게 스포츠교육모형의 적용 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 이해에 관한 안목을 높이고, 오해의 내용을 줄이는 데 도움을 제공할 것이다.
