The seemingly conventional form of W. B. Yeats’s poetry usually goes side by side with his practice of sound. This paper demonstrates Yeats’s aesthetics of poetry sound, which becomes closer to speech and ordinary humanity and rebellious against convention,; it explores the relationship of the poetry sounding and its poetic meaning, believing that the former is a response to the latter. It also examines Yeats’s practice of poetry sound[ing] in poetry creation conforming to his poetics of culture, serving his cultural goal of writing Irishness and praising his motherland. Yeats’s method serves as an approach to modernism, as do the poets, such as Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, and Robert Frost.

겉으로는 전통적인 예이츠의 시는 통상 소리와 같이 간다. 이 논문은 예이츠의 소리[낭송]의 미학을 분석하는데, 그의 소리는 일상적인 사람들의 말과 같아 서 전통적인 시의 기법에 저항한다. 본 논문은 소리는 의미에 대한 반응이기에 시의 소리와 시적 의미의 관계를 탐구한다. 이 글은 또한 예이츠의 아일랜드성을 시로 표현 하고 조국을 찬양하는 그의 문화의 시학에 부합하는 시에서의 소리의 사용을 관찰한 다. 왈트 휘트먼, 에밀리 디킨즈, 로버트 프로스트가 했던 것처럼 예이츠의 기법은 모 더니즘에 대한 그의 접근이었다고 할 수 있다.
