The purpose of this study is to compare and examine whether the Korean 「~ji aneumyeon andoenda」out of some double negative expressions that became an issue due to their Japanese style expressions was influenced by the Japanese 「~nakerebanaranai(ikenai)」. Analysis results are as follows: ① The use frequency 「~ji aneumyeon andoenda」was not found often during the but increased during the , and reduced again during the . It might have deep relations with the background of the times that had to be influenced by Japanese language in that most of authors first studied the Korean literary work in Japanese and transferred it into Korean language, and the translation literary work that had been translated in Japanese was retranslated into Korean language during the . Like this, it was found that 「~ji aneumyeon andoenda」is the expression that was influenced by the Japanese style expression of 「~nakerebanaranai」. ② The Korean expression corresponding to the Japanese 「~nakerebanaranai」can be represented as the positive expression of 「~ya handa」and the double negative expression of 「~ji aneumyeon andoenda」. It was found that if it is not to emphasize a strong conclusion or meaning, 「~ya handa」is a natural corresponding expression than 「~ji aneumyeon andoenda」.

일본어

本稿は韓国語の二重否定表現が日本語の二重否定の影響を受けたかについて19世紀末以来の文学作品を中心として考察した。考察した結果をまとめると、次のようである。 1) 「~지 않으면 안 된다」の使用頻度は第一期にはあまり見られず、第二期に入って急増、第三期には著しく減ったことがわかった。 2) 第二期は時代的背景による影響で、韓国の文学作品の大分は日本語で習作してからそれを韓国語で訳したり、翻訳作品の場合は日本語で訳されたものを再び韓国語で訳す、つまり重訳をしたということで日本語の影響を受けざるを得なかったと思われ、そのため二重否定表現も急增したという点から「~なければならない」が「~지 않으면 안 된다」に影響を及ぼしたことがわかった。 3) 「~なければならない」の対応表現で「~야 한다」と「~지 않으면 안 된다」があるが、強い断定と強調の場合ではなければ「~지 않으면 안 된다」より「~야 한다」の方が自然な対応表現であることがわかった。
