Traditional Siberian indigenous musical art forms were used to develop a program of musical education for primary schools in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). This early traditional musical education program was tested in selected schools in the period of 1991-2000 with promising results in the areas of indigenous cultural awareness and cultural identity leading to aesthetic enrichment and musical literacy. The early traditional musical education program results were used to design the Early Musical Education Program for primary school in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with wider pedagogical scope that include classical musical education as an integral part of the program, thus bridging traditional and classical musical art forms to create a harmonious way of understanding different cultural values and discovering common approaches in establishing emotional attachments and critical creative thinking. The Early Musical Education Program for primary school in the Republic of Sakha received the approval of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation’s expert board and has been designated by the ministry as an innovative educational program for primary schools.

사하 공화국의 초등학교 음악 교육을 위한 프로그램 개발에는 전통 시베리아인 토착 음악 예술 방식이 사용되었다. 이 조기 전통음악교육 프로그램은 1991년부터 2000년까지 선정된 학교에서 시범적으로 운영되었으며, 토착 문화에 대한 자각과 문화적 정체성 영역에서 풍부한 미적 감각과 음악적 활용 능력을 이끌어 낸다는 전도유망한 결과를 도출했다. 조기 전통 음악 교육 프로그램의 결과는 그 프로그램의 필수 부분인 고전 음악 교육을 포함한 보다 광범위한 교육학적 범위에 걸쳐 사하 공화국의 초등학교를 위한 조기 음악 교육 프로그램을 계획하는 데 쓰였다. 그리하여 전통 음악 형식과 고전 음악 형식의 연결은 다른 문화의 가치를 이해하고 감정적 애착과 비판적 창의적 사고를 기르는 일반적인 접근 방식을 발견하는 조화로운 방법을 창출하였다. 사하 공화국의 초등학교를 위한 조기 음악 교육 프로그램은 러시아 연방의 전문가 위원회인 과학 교육부로부터 승인을 받았고, 과학 교육부에 의해 초등학교를 위한 혁신적인 교육 프로그램으로 지정되었다.
