The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the effects of the installation and operation activities of school museums linked to creative works of local artists on the perception of art by children, teachers, and local artists. As a research method to achieve this purpose, we selected qualitative research methods that can analyze the data in detail and study in depth and in depth the changes of perception and inner thoughts. And selected the case study method in terms of showing the experimental case of installing and operating the temporary art gallery within the school for a certain period. The data collected for the analysis are the in - depth interview texts, the video and photographs of the classes and videos, the researcher 's journal, the questionnaire of the child, and the pictures collected through the post - class activities. Participants were two local writers, two third graders, three sixth graders, a homeroom teacher in the third grade of the class selected for the class, and a homeroom teacher in the sixth grade. The results of the study on the effect of the installation and operation of school art museum on the perception of art by children, teachers, and local artists were as follows. First, it was found that the children were able to realize that art activities were their own lives, and they were able to find the theme of art expressions in their own lives, thereby reducing the objection to the selection of themes. Secondly, this activity for the teachers became a chance to reflect more deeply on art education. Third, it was an opportunity to think about the meaning of 'local artist' and to worry about his identity. Fourth, through the activity of dealing with the humanities subject, the life of the artist is connected with the life of the child, so that the child understands that art is education for life and induces the child to accept it in his life. Fifth, the direction of school art education is suggested. It considers the meaning of art education, which means the positive attitude of the child to the real appreciation activity. Sixth, the visiting school museum is the net for the most dense art education aimed at the non-spectators.

본 연구는 지역 미술가의 창조적 작품과 연계한 학교 미술관의 설치․운영 활동이 아동과 교사, 지역 미술가의 예술에 대한 인식에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그 현상을 분석하고 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이 러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구 방법으로는 자료의 내용적인 분석이 가능하여 인식 변화와 내면의 생각을 보다 자세하고 심층적으로 연구할 수 있는 질적 연구 방법을 선택하였으며, 학교 내에서 일정 기간 임시 미술관을 설치․운영하는 실험적인 사례를 보여준다는 측면에서 사례 연구방법을 선택하였 다. 분석을 위해 수집된 자료는 심층 면담 텍스트, 관람 및 수업 동영상과 사진 자료, 연구자의 연구일 지, 아동의 설문지, 수업 후 연계활동을 통해 수집된 그림 자료이다. 연구 참여 대상은 지역 작가 2인, 3학년 2명, 6학년 3명의 아동, 작가와의 수업에 선정된 학급의 3학년 담임교사, 6학년 담임교사이다. 자료 수집, 분석, 해석의 연구 과정을 거쳐 지역 미술가의 창조적 작품과 연계한 학교 미술관의 설치․ 운영 활동이 아동과 교사, 지역 미술가의 예술에 대한 인식에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그 현상을 연구한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 아동들에게 미술 활동이 곧 자신의 삶에서 비롯되는 것임을 깨닫게 해주고, 자신의 생활 속에서 미술 표현의 주제를 찾을 수 있게 함으로써 주제 선정에 대한 거부감을 줄여 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 교사에게 이러한 수업은 미술교육에 대해 좀 더 깊이 성찰하는 계기 가 되었다. 작가의 수업을 보며 인문학적 주제로 접근하는 미술 수업을 해보고 싶어 하는 욕구를 자극 하였고, 자신의 미술 수업을 돌아보게 하는 계기가 되었다. 셋째, 작가에게 ‘지역 작가’의 의미에 대해 생각해보고, 자신의 정체성에 대한 고민을 해 보는 계기가 되었다. 넷째, 인문학적 주제를 다루는 활동 을 통해 예술가의 삶이 아동의 삶과 연결되는 과정을 경험함으로써 예술이 삶을 위한 교육임을 이해 하고, 자신의 삶 안에 수용하도록 유도한다. 다섯째, 학교 미술교육의 방향성을 제시한다. 아동의 실물 감상 활동에 대한 적극적인 태도가 의미하는 미술 교육의 의미를 고려하게 한다. 여섯째, 찾아가는 학교 미술관은 비관람객을 겨냥한 가장 촘촘한 미술교육, 문화예술교육을 위한 그물이라고 할 수 있다.
