The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationships among emotional dissonance, physical stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of elementary school teachers in physical education class. In order to accomplish this study, the proposed research model was developed based on the previous studies. Total 240 questionnaires were distributed to elementary school teachers at teacher job training institute using a convenient sampling method. Among them, twelve questionnaires were discarded because they were incomplete. there were 228 usable questionnaires. Data were analyzed with frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling using PASW Statistics 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 version. The results of this study indicated that emotional dissonance had a significant impact on physical stress of elementary school teachers in physical education class. Emotional dissonance didn't have a direct and significant influence on their job satisfaction. Emotional dissonance negatively contributed to organizational commitment of them. Physical stress didn't have a direct and significant influence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment of them. Job satisfaction positively contributed to their organizational commitment.

본 연구는 초등교사가 체육수업에서 지각하는 감정적 부조화, 육체적 스트레스, 직무만족, 조직몰입간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 초등학교 교사를 모집단으로 선정하였으며 비확률 표본추출법의 하나인 편의표본추출법을 이용하여 표본을 추출하였다. 총 240명을 대상으로 교사직무연수원을 직접 방문하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 회수된 설문지 중 응답이 적절치 못한 12부를 제외한 228부를 자료분석에 이용하였다. 자료분석은 PASW Statistics 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 version을 이용하였고 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 초등교사가 체육수업에서 지각하는 감정적 부조화는 육체적 스트레스에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 직무만족과 조직몰입에는 직접적인 영향관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 육체적 스트레스는 직무만족과 직접적인 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났지만 조직몰입에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 직무만족은 조직몰입에 직접적인 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
