The purpose of this study is to investigate how to improve the basic skills of NCS based on liberal arts curriculum of junior colleges through case studies analyzing the degree of helping the improvement of the basic ability of the college through the liberal arts curriculum It has its purpose. For this purpose, 13 professors and 1460 students who have conducted 'Modern Society and Human' curriculum at D area Y university College during the first and second semesters of the 2016 academic year will be given basic skills (communication ability, interpersonal relationship Ability). The questionnaire survey was conducted on a 3 likert scale. As a result, the overall average of the communication skills of the first and second semesters was 2.50 and 2.40, and the overall average of interpersonal abilities was 2.40 and 2.30, respectively. Which is generally reported to have helped the improvement. The overall average of communication skills in the first and second semesters was 2.49 and 2.56, and the overall average of interpersonal abilities was 2.45 and 2.49. The overall average of basic competence was 2.47 and 2.53 The evaluation also showed that the subject, like the teacher evaluation, helped to improve the basic skills of the profession. Therefore, a variety of cultures that help professional college students to grow into talented individuals with the qualities and competencies required by society are required to cultivate their ability to perform their jobs and their basic abilities through a curriculum that is shorter than that of general universities. The significance and limitations of this study as well as the need for the development of curriculum and curriculum were discussed.

본 연구는 전문대학 학생들을 대상으로 교양 교과목을 통한 직업기초능력의 향상에 도움 되는 정도를 분석하는 사례연구를 통해 전문대학의 교양 교육과정을 통한 NCS 기반 직업기초능력의 향상 방안에 대해 연구하는 것에 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2016학년도 1학기와 2학기에 걸쳐 D지역 Y대학에서 ‘현대사회와 인간’ 교양 교과목을 운영한 교수자 13명과 학생 1460명을 대상으로 해당 교과목을 통한 직업기초능력(의사소통능력, 대인관계능력)의 향상에 도움 되는 정도를 likert식 3점 척도로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 교수자 평가에서 1학기와 2학기의 의사소통능력의 전체 평균은 2.50과 2.40으로 나타났고, 대인관계능력의 전체 평균은 2.40과 2.30으로 나타났으며, 직업기초능력 전체 평균은 2.45와 2.34로 대체로 향상에 도움이 되었다고 보고하였다. 또한 학생평가에서 1학기와 2학기의 의사소통능력의 전체 평균은 2.49와 2.56으로 나타났고, 대인관계능력의 전체 평균은 2.45와 2.49로 나타났으며, 직업기초능력 전체 평균은 2.47과 2.53으로 학생평가 역시 교수자 평가와 마찬가지로 해당 교과목이 직업기초능력의 향상에 도움이 되었다고 보고하였다. 따라서 일반대학에 비해 짧은 수업연한으로 전공 중심의 교육과정에 맞춰져 이를 통해 직무수행능력과 직업기초능력을 함양해야 하는 전문대학생들로 하여금 사회에서 요구하는 자질과 역량을 갖춘 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 다양한 교양 교과목 및 교육과정 개발의 필요성과 함께 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구 과제를 논의하였다.
