I understand, ethics counseling is processing of finding self in counselor and client. This process of finding human nature is justified morally. Pursuing for happy living is relevant to moral behaviour, which is grounded not by just economical development, but on human nature. Self-knowledge makes us to aware of ourselves and moral development. Ethics counseling and ethics education are achieved by deep understanding of self. Joy of living is possible not through forgetting self-consciousness, but consciousness of human dignity. Moral living could relativize self-interest paradoxically for communicating with other people and preparing desirable future living. Moral education as expression of human dignity should presuppose other human beings as themselves. S. Kierkegaard accepts, God has set eternality in the hearts of men. For Kierkegaard human nature is searching for relationship with eternal Being. Neighbor love between counselor and client is possibe through relationship with eternal being.

나는 상담자와 내담자가 자기 자신을 알아가는 과정을 윤리상담으로 보고자 한다. 각 개인이 인간본성을 찾아가는 과정은 도덕적으로 정당화된다. 경제적 발전만으론 성취되지 않는 행복한 삶을 위해선 인간본성에 걸맞은 도덕적 행위를 찾아야 한다. 우리는 자아(self)에 대하여 앎으로써 자기 자신에 대하여 각성할 수 있고 도덕적 성숙을 기대할 수 있다. 키에르케고어는 인간에게 영원을 사모하는 마음이 심어졌음을 받아들인다. 그에게 영원한 존재와 관계가 인간본성이다. 키에르케고어에서 영원한 존재와 관계는 상담자와 내담자 사이의 이웃사랑을 가능하게 한다. 자아의 깊은 이해는 윤리상담을 가능하게 하며 윤리교육의 기초가 된다. 삶의 즐거움은 자기의식(意識)의 포기가 아니다. 자신의 존엄을 의식하는 도덕적 생활은 역설적으로 자신의 이익을 상대화하며 타자와 관계하며 미래를 설계한다. 인간존엄의 표현으로서 도덕교육은 타자의 존재이유를 그 자체로서 전제한다.
