The following thesis is the study of the comparison between holistic education, where in strives for a human’s holistic development and cultivation as purpose, and eurhythmics education’s personality education, and how compatible it is to holistic’s personality cultivation. Therefore firstly, artistic education, personality education, and artistic·personality education’s definition and artistic·personality education’s teaching methods in the field, as well as its value, have been written down. Secondly, holistic education and eurhythmics education’s theoretical background and their relation have been analyzed. Furthermore, holistic education and eurhythmics education’s personality educational elements have been defined and presented through personal, relational, communal, and ecological aspects. So far, part of South Korea’s competition based mechanical·“cramming” method of substance-less education has caused problems such as social disconnection and alienation as a human- being, resulting in today’s society’s need for personality education. Which leads to the that holistice eurhythmics’ personality education would solve problems of dated educational methods, and at the same time also point towards a better, alternative method of education, as well as become a guide source for an essential education that can develop proper personality.

이 논문은 인간의 전인적 발달과 인성 함양을 목적으로 하는 홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 음악교육의 인성교육을 비교하여, 홀리스틱 인성 함양에 음악교육 유리드믹스의 적합성을 연구하였다. 홀리스틱 교육은 ‘관계성’에 입각한 전인교육이며, 유리드믹스 교육은 몸·마음·영혼의 유기적 관계를 바탕으로 하는 음악교육으로서 예술인성교육의 가치를 지니고 있다. 그러므로 첫째, 예술교육과 인성교육 그리고 예술·인성교육의 정의와 예술·인성교육의 현황과 가치를 기술하였다. 둘째, 홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 교육의 이론적 배경과 두 교육의 연관성을 분석하였다. 그리고 홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 교육이 가지는 인성교육적 함의에 대하여 개인적 차원, 관계적 차원, 사회 공동체적 차원, 생태학적 차원으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 그동안 우리나라 일부의 본질적인 의미를 상실한 경쟁구도의 기계적인 주입식 교육은 소통의 단절, 인간 소외에 의한 문제로 최근 사회적으로 인성교육에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 홀리스틱 유리드믹스 예술인성교육은 기존 교육방식이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하는 동시에, 더 나은 방향의 교육의 방법이자 올바른 인간상을 길러 내는 본질적인 교육을 위한 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다.
