This study aimed to compare any correlation and explore the artistic world of Michel Fokin and Isadora Duncan. Dance World, dreaming of a new world beyond the existing customs and having the type of reform figures have always existed. Michel Fokin and Isadora Duncan, during this period is a ballet and modern dance in the genre, there are two figures representing these deviations. The radical ideas of their relationship from Duncan was an important role Fokin about the fact that many documents are handled in a study specifically extracted as a result of the common denominator is as follows. The first, they advocated a reflection of the spiritual world and the natural and free movement in the free dance. Second, They have adoration in Greece, where has the exotic world was reflected in this work. Third, it highlights the dramatic expressiveness, rather than the formal side to be chosen. Fourth, they were not subordinated and to the pursuit of music, which was used in the original dance with other varieties. The two figures mentioned above have in common is that it may be a product of the contemporary era, leading excellent artistic world and extraordinary talent of music. Isadora Duncan and Michel fokin, who will not be able to deny the genius of nature. Therefore, although the genre has been a pioneer in his field but otherwise outstanding achievements in research on the two figures who played a major role in the future, will be continued in terms of investigation and educational dance.

무용사에 있어서 기존의 관습과 형식을 벗어나 새로운 세계를 꿈꾸는 개혁의 인물들은 늘 존 재해왔다. 미셀 포킨과 이사도라 던컨이 시기를 맞물리며 발레와 현대무용 장르에서 이러한 일탈 을 대표하는 두 인물이다. 이들의 관계에서 던컨이 포킨의 급진적 사상에 중요한 분수령이 되었 다는 사실에 대해서는 많은 문헌들에서 다뤄지고 있으며 연구의 결과로 추출된 구체적 공통분모 는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 자연스럽고 자유로운 정신세계와 이를 반영한 움직임을 가지고 자유무 용을 표방했다. 두 번째, 그리스라는 이국적 세계에 대한 동경을 가지고 이를 작품에 반영했다. 세 번째, 형식적이기보다는 극적인 표현력을 강조하는 측면을 지녔다. 네 번째, 기존 무용에서 사 용되던 음악과는 다른 다양성을 추구하며 음악에 종속되지 않았다.
