Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (the same as main campus) is a school aiming for future-oriented arts education to foster global, creative, field talented students in the field of media arts. The study was done with the idea that liberal arts class specialized only for the main campus is needed considering students of main campus majoring in 󰡔Media arts󰡕 need improvements on creativity through creative thinking and motivation. This study has it purposes in that it increases creative ability of students by integrating majors of each student and materials in ‘Korean arts’ targeting students who took liberal arts classes at main campus and it seeks desirable direction liberal arts education should go on. As a result of applying teaching methods focused on problems, activities, experience to students, they could induce creative idea through it, as well as improving abilities on cooperation, problem solving, teamwork in the process of obtaining results. Lecture in liberal arts in this main campus would make a sacrifice of itself in fostering ‘practical creative talented students, creative field talented students’ only if teaching methods that can culture creative integrated thinking by improving empathic ability of students in arts college are introduced rather than just transferring knowledge.

동아방송예술대학교(이하 본교)는 방송예술분야의 창의적 인재･현장인재･글로벌인재 양성을 위한 미래지향적 예술교육을 목표로 하는 학교이다. 방송예술분야를 전공하는 본교 학생들은 동 기부여와 창의적 사고력을 통한 창의성 증진이 필요하므로, 본교만의 특화된 예술교양 수업모델 이 필요하다고 생각되어 연구를 진행하게 되었다. 본 연구는 본교의 예술교양과목을 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 ‘한국예술’이라는 소재와 학생 각자의 전공을 융합하여 학생들의 창조적 능력을 신장시키고, 예술교양교육이 나아가야 할 바람 직한 방향 모색에 목적이 있다. 학생들에게 체험중심, 활동중심, 문제중심의 교육방법을 적용한 결과 학생들은 이를 통해 창의 적인 아이디어를 도출해 내었고, 결과물을 얻어 내는 과정에서 문제해결 능력, 팀웍, 협업 능력 등을 신장시킬 수 있었다. 향후 본교의 예술교양 강의는 단순히 지식을 전달하는 것에서 그치는 것이 아니라 예술대학 학생들만의 공감능력을 향상시켜 창의 융합적 사고를 배양할 수 있는 교육방법이 도입되어야 ‘실무형 창의인재, 창의적 현장인재’를 양성하는 데에 밑거름이 될 것이다.
