- Choi Seungja’s poetry has been changing since the 2000s. Choi’s poetry, which has been fiercely resistive to reality, is aiming for another world in a lower tone. This paper analyzes the perception and representation of ‘the real’ that Choi continuously pursues, and examines the ethics of desire which the poet is aiming at. First, the basic concepts of the Lacan‘s theory, which this paper mainly based on, are presented, and the possibility of the discussion is suggested. Then, the process in which Choi’s real life and ‘the real’ beyond it infiltrate into one another is discussed. Choi denies the order and norms of ‘the symbolic’. Choi desires ‘the real’ beyond ‘the symbolic’ and expresses it through a medium such “desert”, “ward”, “the empty dream” and “emptiness”. Finally, the ethics of desire that Choi Seungja pursued through her continuous desires and representations for ‘the real’ while Choi dwells in ‘the desert of the real’ were observed. In the gap between poetry and life, ‘the real’ and ‘the symbolic’, Choi does not compromise with ‘the symbolic’ and even break it through poetry and life that reveal constant impulse toward ‘the real’. And the struggle in pursuing such desire is the ethics of the desire that Choi Seungja is aiming at.

- 최승자의 시는 2000년대 이후 변모를 보인다. 현실을 향해 치열하고 뜨겁게 저항하던 시가 낮은 어조와 태도로 일견 다른 세계를 지향하고 있다. 본논문은 2000년대 이후 최승자의 시적 인식을 밝히기 위해 시인이 지향하는‘실재’에 대한 인식과 표상을 분석하고 이를 통해 시인이 추구하는 욕망의윤리학을 고찰하였다. 우선 본 논의에 바탕이 되는 라캉의 이론을 제시하여논의의 가능성을 전제하고, 시인의 현실적인 삶(reality)과 현실 너머의 ‘실재(the real)’가 삼투하는 과정을 밝혔다. 최승자는 상징계의 질서와 규범을 거부하고 상징계 너머의 ‘실재’를 욕망하면서 이를 “사막”과 “병실”, “부운몽”과 “허(虛)”라는 표상으로 드러내고 있다. 이 논의들을 기반으로 ‘실재’ 를 향한 지속적인 지향을 통해 최승자 시가 추구하는 욕망의 윤리학을 살펴보았다. 시와 삶, 실재계와 상징계의 간극에서 시인은 상징계에 균열을 내는시와 삶을 통해 ‘실재’를 향한 끊임없는 추동을 드러낸다. 이를 추구하는 과정의 고투야말로 최승자 시가 지향하는 욕망의 윤리학이라고 할 수 있다.

- 한국문예창작학회(The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing)는 한국 문학의 새 지평을 열기 위해 문예창작 이론과 문예교육 이론을 연구 계발하여 문 예창작의 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 조직한 학술단체입니다. 전국 대학과 대학원 문예창작 관련학과의 전·현직 전임교수·겸임(초빙)교수· 강 사·대학원 재학 이상자 및 문예창작인들이 회원으로 활동하고 있습니다. 학회의 목적에 적극적으로 동의하는 문학 관련 단체나 문학창작 동호인도 준회원으로 참 여하고 있습니다. 연 2회 학회지를 발간해 학문적 기반을 닦고 있으며, 정기적으로 학술 세미나 와 해외 문학 심포지엄 등 학술 발표회를 개최하여 학문적 교류와 토론의 장을 넓히고 있습니다. 한편으로, 문예창작 캠프·문학기행 등의 창작교육 활동과 창작 학습 행사를 수 시로 진행하면서, 창작·창작이론·창작교육에 관한 활동의 범위를 넓히고 있습니다. 별도로, 문예창작 교육을 받은 문예창작학도들의 진로 개발을 위해 '문예교육지도 교사 자격 시험'도 운영하고 있습니다. The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing is a pure academic association for the literary cretive writing, and was organized on November 11, 2001 for the purpose of presenting the new direction of literary creative writing by studying all the methods to activate and develop the theories of literary creative writing and its education. Our society is composed of professors or ex-professors, some invited professor, lecturers, graduate students of the dept. of literary creative writing as regular members, and the persons interested in our program as associative members. Our society holds an annual academic meeting-- literary symposium, literary creative writing seminar-- and publishes the journal of our society and our members' anthology of literary works. Added to these, our society has already started a new project to open the way for our literary juniors by providing them with a certificate as a leader and holding a forum for literary creative writing.
