The Christian preachers should proclaim the Christocentric redemptive history narratives in preaching, and draw their spiritual awakening and transformations. It is praxis of God that takes the initiative of this process, who comes to His people and renews His covenant. The praxis of God who renewals the divine covenant in the Word brings the spiritual awakening and transformation. In this covenant renewal process, the Christian congregation could experience the spiritual maturity to transform their restrained identity narratives, and these spiritual experiences could become embody the pastoral mode to express the communal identity narratives. This is so called pastoral role fulfillment of the praxis of God. For this pastoral role fulfillment, the preachers should understand the pastoral role fulfillment process in which the biblical redemptive history narrative encounter with the individual identity narrative of the believers. The preacher should also seek to bring about the communal identity narrative of the congregation from their spiritual awakening and transformation event.

그리스도 중심의 구속 역사에 관한 내러티브는 설교자의 설교를 통하여 회 중에게 선포되어 회중의 영적인 깨달음과 변화를 이끌어낸다. 이 과정을 주도 하는 것은 말씀을 통하여 자기 백성들에게 찾아오셔서 언약을 갱신하시는 하 나님의 프락시스(praxis of God)이다. 말씀으로 자기 백성과 맺은 언약 (covenant of God)을 갱신하고 회복하는 하나님의 프락시스는 회중에게 영적 인 깨달음과 변화를 가져오며, 이 과정에서 회중은 구속사 내러티브가 자신들 의 제한된 정체성의 내러티브를 변화시키는 영적인 변화와 성숙을 경험하며, 그러한 경험은 다시 신앙 공동체의 정체성의 내러티브를 담는 가시적인 목회 양식들로 구현된다(pastoral role-fulfillment). 이를 위해서 설교자는 성경이 펼쳐 보이는 하나님의 구속 역사에 관한 내러티브(biblical redemptive history narrative)가 신자 개인 내면의 정체성의 내러티브(individual identity narrative)와 서로 조우하여 변화를 이끌어내는 과정을 이해해야 한다. 그리고 회중의 영적인 깨달음과 변화의 사건이 신앙 공동체 전체의 정체성의 내러티 브(communal identity narrative)로 구현되도록 해야 한다.
