The cultural art industry of our society has changed rapidly. That means the condition of the actors also has done so. In other words, depending on the media, technical elements and given situation affect performer how to do the intensity of expression and feeling continuous and cut off due to the interference. In many of these characteristic, the performer should change or configure the different style of acting and narrative presentation according to the media. Therefore, this study is to help the performer understand the characteristic of the mutual media when the he/she creates the role and present narrative more effectively considering the characteristic of the each media. The result of the study shows that to they both have common in training in way of making sound, which is the basic element of narration, however there are some difference between how to deliver the method or accept the media. The performer can make more truthful and accurate narrative by training constantly for recognizing the technical mechanism and understanding the characteristic of the each media. As such, this study shows that at the present time, the performer who acts to a wide variety of the media, there are some differences when the performers express their narrative by the characteristic of the each media. Also this study is pointing out that there is no education that teaches the differences. Furthermore, to achieve a successful transition for the actors and make efficient narrative needs more subdivided acting direction by the characteristic of the each media.

오늘날은 디지털 다매체 시대로 케이블 TV와 위성방송의 보급이 확대되고 방송과 인터넷이 만나는등 이전과는 다른 차원의 변화가 전개되고 있다. 다양한 공연형태의 새로운 매체들이 계속 출현하고 방송 콘텐츠에 대한 수요가 나날이 늘어나면서 연기자의 직업의 선호도는 상당히 높아지고 있다. 이렇듯연기자의 수요가 계속해서 증가함에 따라 연기자가 갖추어야 할 연기적인 요소 또한 중시되는데 그 중에서도 화술은 가장 중요한 부분이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논의에서는 연기자의 화술은 자신의 말이 아닌 극중 인물의 언어를 가상의 공간 이라는 특수한상황에서 자신의 상대역 뿐 아니라 제 3의 인물, 즉 관객 또는 TV를 포함한 모든 영상분야를 시청하는이들에게 내용과 줄거리, 감정의 전달을 목적으로 한다는 점에서 일상의 말하기와는 다른 영역임을 인식하고, 연극연기와 카메라연기에서 화술에 차이를 정확히 인식하고 매체의 특성에 맞는 화술을 보다 효과적으로 구사하는 방안을 고찰해 보고자 한다. 이를 통해, 연기에 있어 연극과 카메라라는 두 매체는 화술의 구사하기 위한 기본이 되는 필수 요소들뿐 만 아니라 매체의 수용이나, 전달방식, 작업환경과 방법에서 차이점을 인식하고, 거듭되는 훈련을 통해 다양한 캐릭터의 창조적 개성과 자발적 충동을 효과적으로 형성하고 운용하여 진실 된 화술을 표현할수 있도록 하고자 한다.
