This study analyzes the recent research trends through the use of the text network analysis method as applied in many academic fields, to the Comparative Education Research Journal of the Korean Comparative Education Association. Out of 686 papers published articles from the first to the 25th issue of the Comparative Education Research Journal, 463 research studies were examined in this paper. Frequency analysis in a divided 5-year list of keywords was conducted, while text network analysis was applied for each major education category. Frequency analysis of keywords revealed that the curriculum and higher education fields are of high frequency, with the United States as the focus of the study. Frequency of studies concerning Japan, China, and Europe has been increasing recently. When it comes to the subdisciplines of education, it was found out that the focus on educational administration shifted from the United States to other countries, while expanding concerns from higher education to primary and secondary education. In the field of curriculum studies, it is notable that changes are being made focusing from English-speaking countries and the United States, to Korea, Japan and China, encompassing all academic levels. In the field of educational measurement and evaluation, various countries have been the subject of the study, while from 2006 to 2010, Japan has been especially the main focal country being researched on, mainly concentrated on higher education. In the field of international understanding, many studies were listed in the recent years focusing on higher education institutions and international organizations in Korea, Japan, and China. There has been a shift of focus from the United States and Japan to Australia and Korea in the field of lifelong learning, with research inquiries mainly on universities and international organizations. For multiculturalism, a notable growing focus has been given on studies concerning UK and the United States to other English-speaking countries and Europe, with studies mainly discussing universities and colleges.

이 연구는 최근 연구경향을 분석하는데 많은 학문영역에서 활용되고 있는 텍스트 네트워크 분석 방법을 한국비교교육학회의 공식적인 학회지인 비교교육연구에 적용하 여 분석한 논문이다. 비교교육연구의 창간 호부터 2015년에 발행된 제25권 6호에 이르기까지 게재된 총 686편의 논문 중에서 주제어가 기재된 463편이 분석의 대상이었 다. 5년 단위로 주제어에 대한 빈도분석을 실시하고, 교육학의 주요 하위영역별로 텍스트 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 주제어의 빈도분석 결과, 교육과정과 고등교육 영역이 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 연구의 초 점이 된 국가는 미국이 가장 높았으나, 최근 일본과 중국 및 유럽 각국의 빈도가 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 교육학의 하위 학문 영역을 중심으로 살펴보면, 교육행정영 역은 미국 중심에서 타 국가 중심으로 중 심축이 이동하고 있으며, 고등교육에서 초중등교육으로 연구가 확장되고 있다. 교육 과정 영역에서는 영미권 국가에서 최근 한국, 일본, 중국으로 변화가 이루어지고 있 으며, 모든 학교급으로 확대되고 있다. 교육평가영역은 다양한 국가가 연구대상이었으나, 2006년부터 2010년 까지 특별히 일본이 주요 연구 대상국이었으며, 주로 고등교육 기관 중심의 연구가 주종을 이루고 있다. 국제이해영역에서는 최근 한국, 일본, 중국의 고등교육기관이나 국제기구 중심의 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 평생 교육영역에서는 미국과 일본 중심에서 호주와 한국 중심으로 변화되고 있으며, 대학과 국제기구 중심의 연구가 많다. 다문 화영역에서는 영국과 미국에서 영미권이나 유럽의 다른 국가로 외연이 확장되고 있으며, 주로 대학 중심으로 연구가 이루어지고 있다.
