Since the 21st century, retail format has fully entered a period of rapid innovation and change in China. Whether the traditional offline retail formats or emerging online retail formats, are accelerating the pace of innovation. Among them, Suning Commerce Group innovatively puts forward a “Stores + E-commerce+ Retail Service Providers” cloud provider model. Alibaba Group has taken the new retail as a strategic innovation goal. In this study, we systematically comb and refine the evolution trend and evolution mechanism of Chinese e-commerce. The study clearly points out that omni-channel mode is a kind of advanced retail form, so it is also the strategic and innovative direction of online retailers and offline retailers. But this requires the emerging e-commerce, the traditional store and its entrepreneurs to make the appropriate strategic arrangements to effectively respond to a new round of retail revolution.
