The purpose of this paper is to study on the meaning of the Enactment of Defense Technology Security Act and recognition improvement. Since Defense Technology Security Act was conducted on June 30, 2016, target organization having defense industry technology should both build a technical protection system and educate their employee regarding to the law and how to protect their defense industry technology. This paper focuses on how the government effectively supports the target organization of training under the implementation of Defense Technology Security Act. The 311 surveys conducted during the Defense Technology Security Act training in the first half of 2016 were analyzed. It was also tested for the recognition of differences in the defense technology protection of both the size and grade of the enterprise as well as awareness through education. The result shows the role of government is important for awareness improvement and needs for promoting awareness since SME's awareness is relatively low for defense industrial technology protection. In addition, this paper suggests a tailored training based on the company's internal grade required. It also provides suggestions for establishing the direction and policies of the future government such as education awareness of the CEO.

본 논문은 방위산업기술보호법 제정 의미와 방위산업기술보호 중요성의 인식 제고 방안을 파악하는 연구이다. 방위산업기술보호법이 2016년 6월 30일 시행됨 에 따라 방위산업기술을 보유한 대상기관은 기술보호체계를 구축해야 하며, 방위산업기술 보호에 관한 법규, 유출 현황 및 대응사례등 대처방안에 대한 교 육을 실시하여야 한다. 본 논문은 방위산업기술보호법 시행에 따라 정부가 어떻게 효율적으로 대상기관의 교육을 지원할지에 대해 초점을 두고 있다. 2016년 상반기 방위산업기술보호법규 교육 시 실시한 311개의 설문조사 결과를 분석하 였으며, 교육을 통한 인식 제고, 기업의 규모와 직급에 따른 방위산업기술보호에 대한 인식수준의 차이에 대하여 검정하였다. 분석결과 인식제고를 위한 정부의 역할이 중요하며, 상대적으로 방위산업기술보호에 대한 인식수준이 낮은 중소기업의 인식제고를 위한 홍보가 필요하고, 기업 내 직급에 따른 맞춤형 교육이 필요함을 시사하고 있다. 또한, 최고경영자의 인식제고 등 향후 정부의 교육 방향과 정책을 수립하는데 시사점을 제공한다.
