Korea is the fastest nation to enter the aging society in the world. As tourists increase, tourists’ complaints behavior are occurring frequently. This study analyzed a difference between young-middle adult class and old adult class on complaining behavior across attribution elements. Complaining behaviors classed into public action type, private action type and non complaining action. The Attribution elements is stability levels and controllability level. This result is as follows. First, this study performed discrimination analysis between young-middle adult class and old adult class on locus, stability and controllability of attribution. The stability and controllability of attribution discriminated from generations. but locus of attribution didn’t. Second, the public action type showed significantly a difference of main effect across generation and stability levels. Also The type showed significantly a difference of interaction effects of generation and stability, generation and controllability, stability and controllability. Third, the private action type showed significantly a difference of main effects across generation,stability and controllability level, and interaction effect of generation and controllability. Finally, the non-complaining action showed significantly a difference of main effect of generation and controllability, and interaction effect of generation and stability.

본 연구에서는 청장년층과 노년층의 관광객들이 불만족의 원인에 대한 귀인요소들에 따라 불평행동유형이 어떻게 차이를 보이는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 귀인요소를 귀인의 소재성(내적/외적), 안정성(일시적/지속적), 통제성(불가피한/통제가능한)으로 설정하였으며, 불평행동유형은 공적불평행동, 사적불평행동 및 무불평행동으로 분류하였다. 첫째, 공적불평행동에 대한 세대, 안정성 귀인 그리고 통제성 귀인의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과, 공적불평행동은 세대간(청장년층/노년층), 귀인의 안정성(일시성/지속성)에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였고 세대와 안정성, 세대와 통제성 및 안정성과 통제성의 상호작용효과도 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 사적불평행동은세대간, 귀인의 안정성 및 귀인의 통제성의 수준에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 안정성과 통제성의 상호작용효과도 유의하게 나타났다. 셋째, 무불평행동은 세대 간 그리고 통제성 수준에 따라 유의하였으며 세대와 안정성의 상호작용효과도 유의하게 나타났다
