Preach Christ from in all of Scriptures! No preacher would deny this homiletic maxim. However, many suggested different theories and methodologies on how to preach christ from all of scripture. The purpose of this study is to provide a corrective or an alternative method for preaching Christ from all the scripture with an emphasis of textuality. This paper firstly compares the theories of several noteworthy homileticians who advocates Christocentric preaching. After examining their approaches on Gen 22:1-19, this study explains the strong and weak points of their Christocentric preaching methodologies. To remedy the existing weaknesses of Christocentric preaching, this study delves into the textuality of Gen 22:1-19. Based upon the textual world that the biblical author intended to embody and to communicate, this paper explains the relationship between the biblical author's intentional textuality and Christocentric preaching. Finally, this paper provides several positive implications on preaching Christ in a text-driven way.

모든 성경에서 그리스도를 설교하라는 설교학적 금언을 부정할 설교자는 드물다. 하지만 어떻게 그리스도를 설교하는가에 있어서는 다양한 방법론들이 존재한다. 이 논문의 주요 목적은 기존의 그리스도 중심적 설교에 대한 이론과 방법론에 대한 대안적 제안을 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 우선 그리스도 중심적 설교를 주창하는 학자들의 이론들과 살펴보고 그들의 공통점과 차이점들을 간략히 비교한다. 특히 창 22:1-19절의 설교에 대한 대표적 학자들의 이론과 실제 설교들을 살펴보고 그리스도 중심적 설교의 장단점을 평가한다. 이 연구는 기존의 그리스도 중심적 설교가 지닐 수 있는 단점들을 극복하는 방안으로 앞서 살펴본 본문의 예인 창 22:1-19에서 성경 저자가 전달하고자 했던 본문의 의미와 더불어 본문의 구조와 수사적 장치를 통한 효과를 살펴봄으로 성경 저자가 의도한 본문성을 연구하고, 성경 저자가 구현한 본문성과 그리스도 중심성과의 관계를 구체적으로 살펴본다. 이를 통해 이 연구가 제안하는 본문성을 강조하는 그리스도 중심적 설교의 긍정적인 역할에 대해서 설명하고자 한다.
