This study is to investigate reality of social capital and a level of life satisfaction of case management clients in a local community center and to find out what elements could exert influence on social capital and a level of life satisfaction of theirs. The investigations were carried out by surveys of 174 among guardians of client who use case management service of community center in the city, “D” and “G”. The analysis of materials was done with SPSS 20.0. The findings are that social capital of clients of case management was low while the level of life satisfaction was lower than the median level. In our study of the client's social-demographic character and variables by frequency of social capital, life satisfaction showed a significant difference. Second, this study has found out that client's job-jobless, divorce or bereavement was effected on the social capital. Third, client's mental health and trust of social capital were effected on life satisfaction. Based on these findings, we proposed some plans to extend social capital and to increase life satisfaction of clients in case management service of community center.

본 연구는 지역사회복지관 사례관리 대상자의 사회자본과 생활만족도의 실태와 특성을 살펴보고 사회자본과 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 본 연구는 D시와 G시 지역사회복지관의 사례관리 대상자174명을 조사하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 20.0을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 사례관리 대상자의 사회자본은 매우낮은 수준이었고 생활만족도 또한 중간보다 낮은 수준이었다. 둘째, 사례관리 대상자의 직업 유무, 이혼 및사별 유무 변인이 사회자본에 유의미한 영향을 보였다. 셋째, 사례관리대상자의 생활만족도에는 직업유무, 한부모 및 조손가족 구성 형태, 정신건강상태, 사적신뢰 수준이 유의미한 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한연구결과를 토대로 지역사회복지관의 사례관리 대상자의 사회자본을 확장하고 생활만족도를 높일 수 있는몇 가지 제언을 하였다.
