As agricultural income is an important factor for sustainable development as well as economy of rural area, the study of agricultural income is valuable. This study explores the impacts of participation of farmers in agricultural corporation on agricultural income. First, it tests whether participation of farmers in the agricultural corporation have a direct impact on agricultural income. Second, it examines the moderating effect of participation of farmers in agricultural corporation on the relationship between farmland scale and agricultural income. For the purpose of the study, the survey data from a total statistics of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which has been conducted with a nationwide scope every five years are utilized. The study uses independent samples t-test and multiple regression analysis to examine the direct effects and the moderating effects of participation of farmers in agricultural corporation on agricultural income. The results are as follows. First, it shows that agricultural income of farmers who participate in agricultural corporation is higher than that of farmers who do not participate in agricultural corporation. Second, the farmland scale has the positive effect on agricultural income. As well, participation of farmers in agricultural corporation has a moderating effect on relationship between the farmland scale and agricultural income. However, it should be noted that participation of farmers in agricultural corporation plays a negative impact on relationship between farmland scale and agricultural income. Therefore, the government have to try to encourage participation of farmers in agricultural corporation in order to improve the agricultural income. As well, it needs to present proper strategies and direction of participation of farmers in agriculture corporation in accordance with farmland scale.

농업소득은 농촌 경제 뿐만 아니라, 농촌의 지속가능한 발전에 있어서 매우 중요한 요인이기 때문에 농업소득에 대한 연구는 큰 의미가 있다. 본 연구는 영농인의 농업법인 조직 참여를 중심으로 농업소득에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 살펴보면 첫째, 농업법인 조직에 영농인의 참여가 실질적으로 농업소득에 직접적인 영향 미치고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 둘째, 영농 경지규모와 농업소득의 관계에서 영농인의 농업법인 조직 참여가 미치는 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 통계청에서 매 5년마다 전국을 범위로 실시하는 농림어업총조사 자료를 활용하였다. 분석방법으로는 독립표본 t-검정과 다중회귀분석방법을 사용하여 농업소득에 영향을 미치는 농업법인 조직 참여의 직접적 효과와 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농업법인 조직에 참여하는 영농인의 농업소득이 참여하지 않는 영농인의 농업소득보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영농 경지규모가 클수록 농업소득이 향상되었고, 이 때 영농 경지규모와 농업소득의 관계를 영농인의 농업법인 조직 참여가 조절효과를 보였다. 주목할 점은 영농인의 농업법인 참여의 조절효과가 영농 경지규모와 농업소득의 관계에서 음(-)의 영향을 보여주고 있다는 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 정부가 농업소득 향상을 위하여 영농인들에게 농업법인 참여를 장려하는 것과 더불어 영농 경지규모에 따라 적절한 농업법인 참여의 전략과 방향을 함께 제시해야 한다는 정책적 시사점을 보여준다.
