The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effects of the college admitted type of students on the college life experience and the employment. The subject of this study were 17,720 college graduates graduated in August 2012 and February 2013 from 2013 GOMS and analyzed using T-test and correlational analysis of SPSS statistic package. The major findings of this study are as follows; First, the college students admitted through the transfer admissions and special admission are more extreme oriented on their grade under 3.0 or over 4.0 than the college students admitted through the general admissions and occasional-regular admissions. Second, the college students admitted through the general admissions and occasional-regular admissions experienced more diverse and active on grade management, in school program, out-of-school program than the college students admitted through the transfer admissions and special admission. Third, the difference on college life experience by the college admitted type influenced on their employment and employment’s position after graduation. As the major findings of this study, two concluding arguments were made. First, college need to guide students to experience more diverse in-school and out-of-school programs, and to develop more valuable program for their employment and stable employment position after graduation. Especially it is necessary develop in school and our-of-school program for the college students admitted through the transfer admissions and special admission to adapt themselves to college life and to find stable job. Also government need to improve college evaluation policy focusing on employment rates more than focusing on quality of employment aid program with variety and usefulness.

본 연구는 대학입학부터 대학생활, 노동시장으로 까지의 이동 단계에서, 입학유형이 대학생활 경험과 취업 및 상용근로자로의 취업에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 2012년 8월 졸업자 및 2013년 2월 졸업자 17,720명을 대상으로 한 직업이동 경로조사(GOMS 2013) 데이터를 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 편입학은 입학에 비해, 특별전형 유형은 일반정시･일반수시 유형에 비해 졸업평점 3.0 미만과 4.0 이상의 극단적인 학점관리를 하는 경향이 있는 반면 대학프로그램 참여에는 소극적이고, 교외활동은 자격증 획득에 집중하는 경향성이 분석되었다. 둘째, 입학은 편입학에 비해, 일반정시･일반수시 유형은 특별전형에 비해 학점관리, 대학프로그램 참여, 교외활동 프로그램 참여 측면에서 다양한 대학생활경험을 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 입학유형에 따른 대학생활 경험의 차이는 취업 및 상용근로자로의 취업에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며, 특히 대학생활 경험 중 학점관리보다는 대학프로그램 참여, 교외활동 참여가 취업 및 상용근로자로의 취업에 긍정적인 영향인 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로, 이 논문에서는 대학은 취업 지도에서 대학생이 학점관리에 과도한 비중을 두기보다는 대학프로그램과 교외활동에 다양한 경험을 하도록 독려하는 것이 중요하다고 제언하였다. 특히 편입학 유형, 특별전형 유형의 입학자들 대상으로 대학프로그램 및 교외활동 참여를 적극 독려할 필요가 있닥 제언하였다. 또한 정부 차원에서 다양한 평가를 통해 대학성과를 판단함에 있어서 졸업생들의 단순한 취업률에 초점을 두기 보다는 대학이 제공하는 취업지원 프로그램이 학생특성에 맞춰 다양하게 개설되고 있는지, 학생들에게 실질적인 도움이 되고 있는지의 취업지원 프로그램의 질에 초점을 둘 것을 제언하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 대학의 성과를 제고하는 차원에서 취업지도 전략을 설계하는데 주요한 가이드라인이 될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.
