This study was conducted in order to investigate how physical education text-based storytelling program for mathematically gifted children effects to them in the area of the mathematical attitude and learning flow. The subject of the present study consist of mathematically gifted children in the sixth grade in an elementary school in Hwasung. Pre-exam on their mathematical attitude and learning flow was conducted. After a 10-week-program post-exam was conducted. Paired t-text and Wilcoxon- nonparametric test with SPSS program were used to analyze the data collected. The major results of this study are as follows. First, physical education text-based storytelling program for mathematically gifted children were developed mathematical attitude meaningfully in statistics(p⟨.05). Among sub-domains of this area, interest on mathematics was significantly improved after this program. Second, physical education text-based storytelling program for mathematically gifted children improved mathematical learning flow meaningfully in significantly improved(p⟨.05). Among sub-domains of this area, concentration on task and interests and enthusiasm were significantly improved after this program. Third, physical education text-based storytelling program for mathematically gifted children improved mathematical attitude and learning flow significantly for male students. But they were developed after this program for female. In conclusion, physical education text-based storytelling program for mathematically gifted children should be taken into consideration when developing mathematical attitude and learning flow.

본 연구의 목적은 체육 텍스트에 기반한 스토리텔링 수학영재 프로그램이 초등영재의 수학 관련 정의 적 특성 및 수학 학습몰입에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 화성시 소재 지역 공동 초등학교 영재학급 6학년 학생 15명이 참여하였다. 10차시의 프로그램 적용 전후에 수학 관련 정의적 특성 및 수학 학습몰입에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스 토리텔링을 적용한 체육 텍스트 기반 수학영재 프로그램이 초등영재 학생의 수학 관련 정의적 특성이 유의 미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 하위영역 중에서는 수학교과에 대한 흥미에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 체육 텍스트에 기반한 스토리텔링 수학영재 프로그램을 통해 초등영재의 수학 학습몰입도 가 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 하위영역 중에서는 과제집중과 흥미와 열정에서 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 이와 같이 체육 텍스트에 기반한 수학 스토리텔링 영재 프로그램이 수학 관련 정의적 특성 및 수학 학습몰입을 유의미하게 향상시키는 것으로 나타나 영재 프로그램으로서의 활용 가능성을 보여주었다.
