This study was presented to envision a moral lesson to cultivate a core competence centered on the subject of "Life and Ethics" in the high school after inspecting the transition process of moral subject education about the meaning of the core competence in moral education. The most important feature of the 2015 moral subject curriculum is to bring core competencies to be cultivated to the fore. In preparation to the moral education, the prestudies on the relationship between core competences and moral education, and morality seen from the viewpoint of a competence were scrutinized. Furthermore the changes in the aims of moral subject education based on transition of moral subject curriculum were considered through the relationship with the core competence. Based on this, this study suggests a moral lesson to be used as a framework for moral teachers to teach how to cultivate the core competences. To take advantage of Flipped Learning, a practical lesson is set up to explore the inquiry activities of a small group for every class.

본 연구는 도덕과 교육에서 핵심역량의 의미를 도덕과 교육과정의 변천과정을 통해 살펴보고 고등학교 ‘생활과 윤리’를 중심으로 핵심역량을 함양하는 도덕수업을 구상하여 제시한 것이다. 2015 개정 교육과정은 모든 교과에서 함양해야 할 핵심역량을 전면에 제시한 것이 가장 큰 특징이다. 이에 대비한 도덕교육을 위하여 연구자는 먼저 도덕교육과 핵심역량의 관계와 역량의 관점으로 본 도덕성에 관한 사전연구들을 살펴보고 나아가 교육과정의 변천에 따른 도덕과 교육목표의 변화를 핵심역량과의 관계성 속에서 고찰해보았다. 이것을 토대로 본 연구는 현장에서 도덕교육을 실현시키는 도덕 교사들이 교과역량을 함양하는 도덕수업을 어떻게 해야 하는가에 대한 밑그림으로 활용할 수 있는 도덕수업을 제안한다. 이것은 거꾸로교실 수업을 활용하여 매 시간 소집단 탐구활동으로 진행하는 실제적인 수업 구성안이다.
