The purpose of this study was to help local college students' successful career development, the relation between career barrier and career preparation behavior was examined in mediating, effect of subjective happiness. For this purpose, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on 569(male: 264, female: 305)students' at a local four-year college. The collected data analysis SPSS18.0. For this purpose, 3 research problems was set; First of all, is significant difference found among career barrier, subjective happiness and career preparation behavior according to demographic characteristics? Second, is significant relation found among career barrier, subjective happiness and career preparation behavior? Third, how is mediating effect in the relation between career barrier and career preparation behavior? The research results are as follows: First, the The negative correlation was found between career barrier and subjective happiness and positive correlation was found between subjective happiness and career preparation behavior. Second subjective happiness was found to mediate and positive impact on relations between career barrier and career preparation behavior. The results of this study imply that the differential and effective career counseling and intervention programs, taking into account their psychological characteristics such as perceived career barriers, subjective happiness, are needed for college students preparing for future career and occupation.

본 연구는 지방 대학생의 진로준비행동에 대한 이론적 고찰의 일환으로 수행되었으며, 진로장벽과 진로준비행동과의 관계에서 주관적 행복감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 목적을 갖는다. 규명하고자 한 구체적인 연구문제는 다음의 세 가지로서 첫째, 대학생의 인구학적 특성변인에 따라 지각하는 진로장벽, 주관적 행복감, 진로준비행동에서의 차이는 어떠한가? 둘째, 대학생이 지각한 진로장벽, 주관적 행복감과 진로준비행동의 관계는 어떠한가? 셋째, 대학생의 진로장벽과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 주관적 행복감의 매개효과는 어떠한가? 이를 위해 C지역에 소재한 4년제 대학교 재학생 569(남자: 264명, 여자: 305명)명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS18.0을 이용하여 통계 처리하였다. 진로장벽, 주관적 행복감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향력을 알아보기 위하여 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제시한 4단계 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다연구 결과, 첫째, 진로장벽은 주관적 행복감과 진로준비행동에 부적인 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 주관적 행복감과 진로준비행동은 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 대학생의 진로장벽(환경적 진로장벽)과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 주관적 행복감이 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 두 진로 변인의 관계에서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 주관적 행복감이 지방대학생들의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인임을 시사하며. 향후 대학생의 진로준비행동을 높이는데 도움이 될 수 있는 방안을 마련하고, 진로상담 및 진로프로그램 개발에 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료로써의 의의를 갖는다.
