This study reviewed the types of excerpt (Chojib), which has been know to be epitomical version or draft version. And when it comes to Samunyuchi Chojib out of Yuseo, this study investigated versions possed by National Library of Korea, Jangseogak, and Kyujanggak. Lastly, it reviewed three types of woodblock version out of the versions possessed by National Library of Korea in a bibliographical way. It was found out that the types of excerpts are divided into excerts for state examinations, studies, disseminations, and summarization. And it was also found out that there are 8 types of versions possessed by 3 libraries. As a result of bibliographical investigation of Samuncho, Samunyucho, and Sangkyosamunyucho which are possessed by National Library of Korea, Samuncho proved to be all woodblock version of identical version and that Chojib of three types are all published with woodblock verson, showing difference from other versions in terms fo structure and format. As a result of investigation of Chojib of Samunyuchi, it was found out that each of Samuncho (or SanggyoSamunyucho) and Samunyucho (or Samunyuchicho) is the same Chojib and that these are the Chojib of Samunyuchi of Chukmok. It was also found out GogumSasilyuchu is Chojib of SinpyonGogumSamunyuchi of Budaeyong.

이 연구는 발췌본 또는 초록본 등으로 알려져 온 초집의 유형을 고찰하고, 유서 중 『사문유취(事文類聚)』 초집으로 국립중앙도서관과 장서각 및 규장각 소장본을 대상으로 조사하고, 국립중앙도서관 소장본 중 3종의 목판본을 서지적으로 고찰하였다. 초집의 유형은 과거용, 학습용, 보급용 및 요약용으로 조사되었으며, 『사문유취』 초집에 대한 3곳 도서관의 소장본은 8종으로 조사되었다. 국립중앙도서관 소장본 중 『사문초』와 『사문유초』, 『상교사문유초』에 대한 서지적 조사 결과, 『사문초』는 모두 동일 판본의 목판본이며, 3종의 초집은 모두 목판본으로 간행되었으나 다른 판본으로 구성과 형태에 차이가 있었다. 『사문유취』의 초집에 대한 조사 결과 『사문초』(또는 『상교사문유초』)와 『사문유초』(또는 『사문유취초』)는 각각 같은 초집이며, 이들은 축목의 『사문유취』를 초집한 것이며, 『고금사실유취』는 부대용의 『신편고금사문유취』를 초집한 것임을 밝혔다.
