This study aims at presenting project approach for the cultivation of moral creativity. Moral creativity includes the two dimensions in which creativity must be displayed morally and in which creativity must be displayed within ethical domains. These two dimensions have the common domain of morality. When creativity is displayed in domains such as those of science and art in moral education, a moral perspective and attitude which takes harm to mankind and welfare into consideration must be fostered and education must be administered that allows the learner to have new perspectives and introspection on existing practices and intuition in moral situations. Also, morality classes should provide a course in which students can display moral creativity based on the premise that moral creativity is a developmental characteristic that is latent in all students. Project approach provide self-directed learning, classes that connect and integrate the knowledge and lives of students, social skills and emotional learning through processes of cooperation and communication, and opportunities for thought and elaboration for the display of creativity, contributing to the cultivation of moral creativity. This study presented project approach which include creativity steps such as grasping the core of projects in moral situations, subdividing topics, and executing, elaborating, and reflecting on the projects. Also, it presented cases which applied ‘the morals of people integration’, which is an element from the morality course , revised in 2009 and 2015, by applying project steps and creativity methods.

본 연구는 도덕적 창의성 함양을 위한 프로젝트 수업을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 도덕적 창의성은 창의성이 도덕적으로 발휘되어야 한다는 것과 도덕성의 영역에서 창의성을 발휘해야 한다는 두 가지 차원 모두를 포함한다. 이 두 차원은 결국 도덕성이라는 공통적인 영역을 포함한다. 도덕교육에서는 과학ㆍ예술 등의 영역에서 창의성을 발휘할 때 인류에게 끼칠 피해 및 복지 등을 고려하는 도덕적인 관점과 자세를 길러주어야 하며 도덕적 상황에서 기존의 관행과 직관에 대한 성찰 및 새로운 관점을 가질 수 있도록 교육해야 한다. 또한, 도덕적 창의성이 모든 학생들에게 잠재되어 있는 발달적 특성이라는 관점을 전제로 도덕과 수업은 학생들이 도덕적 창의성을 발휘할 수 있는 과정을 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 프로젝트 수업은 자기주도적 학습, 학생들의 앎과 삶을 연계하고 통합할 수 있는 수업, 협력과 소통의 과정을 통한 사회적 기술 및 정서 학습, 창의성 발휘를 위한 고민과 정교화의 기회를 제공함으로써 도덕적 창의성 함양에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구는 도덕적 상황에서 프로젝트 핵심을 파악하고 주제를 세분화하고 프로젝트를 실행하고 정교화하고 성찰하는 과정의 창의성 단계를 포함한 프로젝트 수업을 제시하였다. 또, 프로젝트 단계와 창의성 기법을 적용하여 2009 개정, 2015 개정 도덕과 교육과정 <생활과 윤리> 내용 요소 중 ‘민족 통합의 윤리’에 적용한 수업 사례를 제시하였다.
